36 Hours Serial

As a devastating summer storm hits Grand Springs, Colorado, the next thirty-six hours will change the town and its residents forever….

Marriage by Contract Part 1

Nurse Bethany Kent fell in love with little baby Christopher—and dreamed of adopting him after his mother abandoned him. But in small town Grand Springs she needs a husband in order to adopt.

Dr. Tony Petrocelli has a reputation for romance. In reality, he's tired of short-term relationships and intrigued by Bethany. And if he's going to get that promotion to head of Obstetrics, he needs a wife.

A marriage of convenience can help them both. As long as Tony never learns Beth's secret, it's the perfect solution….

The story continues in Marriage by Contract Parts 2 and 3.

The story begins in a hospital emergency room during the ravages of severe storm which caused mud slides thus sending hundreds to the hospital.
It was during this time a young, pregnant teen came to emergency room ready to prematurely deliver. The teen found compassion with a nurse and tells her the name she has chosen for her baby if a boy and the one chosen if a girl. As the nurse was leaving the room to rush the baby to the neo-natal until she asks the nurse to promise she will take care of baby as the baby. The nurse promises as she hurriedly leaves the room. The emergency room is filled and hectic and no one notices for a while the teen suddenly disappeared.
This is the first of a 3-part series and all three books could have been condensed into one; however, I really believe dividing the stories into three separate ones helped. Think of a favorite TV series that is continued next week and you don't want to wait to find out what happens next.
