    YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK

BUT not until you READ the FIRST 4 IN THE SERIES!!! This book is just another of Kleypas's outstanding creations. Love the bad boy/boy next store at heart and good girl/a little bit naughty girl at heart theme. The only draw back to reading this book is if you have not already read the previous HATHAWAY books. The main characters first appear and meet in the previous books. Their personalities and relationship develope long before this book. This book is where everything comes to completion. All the questions are finally answered and the reasons behind the hero's and heroine's behavior is explained. If you haven't read the previous books, you might feel like you've been dumped into a story already in progress (which you have) and not get the full effect. I suggest for those of you who have read the previous books to go back and review them. Leo first appears in MTM on p.32. Leo and Marks meet in SMAS p.102. Good scenes SMAS p.310, TMAT p.148, p.150 Leo:"Cheer up Marks, I'm sure that someday you, too, will find that one special person you can torment for the rest of your life." & p.264. I could list more, but not enough space. IT will be a sad day when this series ends. One more left.

    Sweet, Funny Wonderful book

I love this author! I have read every one of her books and I looked forward to this new one. I was happy to read it and enjoyed it so much. Okay, it wasn't as wonderfully classic as "Devil in Winter" or "Dreaming of You", but it was just as enjoyable as "Tempt Me at Twilight" one of my favorite Hathaway series books.
Leo and Catherine are wonderful characters. I loved their banter and even how Dogger the ferret fell in love with Catherine in the first book of the Hathaway family. What made this book for me was Leo's humor, wit and his great, funny questions asked at the end of sizzling kisses! It doesn't hurt that he is gorgous, too!
The drama in the book came at unexpected moments and I truely hated the evil characters, Lord Latimer and Catherine's aunt.
The heat in this book was less than other books by this author, but the added sweetness and love in the love scenes was beautiful and appropriate considering the poignant childhood Catherine had.
Last, it was great to catch up with the other characters Amelia/Cam, and Poppy/Harry. Harry had a good role in this book and I loved his interplay with Leo, but would liked to have seen a wee bit more of Harry albeit I know it isn't Harry's story.
If you haven't read the other Hathaway stories, don't worry this book can stand alone because the author gives just enough background for new readers without boring the avid and loyal followers of this author. I read this book in about 6 hours because I couldn't put it down and had to get to the happy ending, and what a sweet, happy ending it is. You will love it!
I look forward to the last book of this series involving the youngest sister, Beatrix coming out in July. I'll be the first in line at the bookstore!

A Must Read & Must Have!

I love love love this book so much! At first I only bought this book to complete the Hathaway series but I must say that this book is by far, my favorite out of the series! Leo's sense of humor makes this book the best! I love it! I'm re-reading it again right now!

    Married by Morning

This book did not quite meet my expectations. To be quite honest, I was not really looking forward to this story. However, I did fall in love with Leo just a bit. He was entertaining and romantic.

I think that Catherine Marks character is a great, headstrong woman. Still, I felt that her character really seemed to "skirt" around the proposal too long for me.

I think part of the problem was that I was already looking forward to Beatrix's book. I think that in the end, the book really did create a beautiful tale of two people who were trying to avoid love but found it anyway. It was just a bit too slow in between for me.

Can never get enough of the Hathaway family.

I loved Married by Morning and I believe you will too! Another great story by Lisa but only read this book if you've read the previous three and have the gyps of it otherwise it will truly not serve its purpose to you. Leo and Cat's love for each other was beautiful and this was a delightful read, aw. Can't wait for Love in the Afternoon with Beatrix! :)

A DIFFER A DIFFERENT KIND OF HEROINE & HERO

Leo's character remained more than true to the series and was the perfect complement to Cartherine "Marks." I think he is my favorite hero personality. His wicked wit and talent as a lover is the most. LORRAINE

Morning Rises~ Part of Chapter 5

Velvetstar leaped into the air and killed a vole. Morningpaw cringed. "See?" She said. "Uh..okay.." said the young apprintence. She copied everything Velvetstar had told her. Beacuase the forest was intresting, she looked around. Then she saw somthing that looked like Dewpaw slipping away from her mentor into the woods alone. *Huh?* thought Morningpaw. She shook the thought away. And she pounced! The mouse ran fast. She ran too. She was chasing it untill..she put her paw down. But another paw also came down too. Morningpaw felt a hush come to the forest. She looked up and there was......

This whole series is just so....I can't even put it into words!  This is by far my favorite book.  It moved me to tears
on more than one occasion, and I laughed so hard at other times.  Leo is so swoon worthy with his good looks
and wicked sense of humor.  No wonder Catherine couldn't resist his charms.  I recommend reading the whole
series.  You will be enthralled.  As soon as I was done with one book, I immediately started on the next.  I read
the whole series during my 1 week vacation and I don't regret one moment of it!  I have read hundreds of
romance books, but  Lisa is by far my favorite author.  I will read everything she has published.  Oh, and by the
way, did I mention The Wallflower series?  Another series you MUST read!  Cheers and enjoy!

    Married by Morning

I love all things Hathaway, especially the only son. Leo is tryly a diamond in the rough. I loved the way Lisa Kleypas grew his character and the character over several books until they were fully grow in this book. This allowed her to focus on other details about their relationship without having to make a huge book. I found that to be the true mark of a talented author. But damn, I love Leo. From deaths door, whore houses, drug abuse, and alcoholism there was so much for this tragic hero to have to overcome to finally find love. And Catherine, who would have known that the quiet Ms. Marks had such a past. I highly recommend that you read it for yourself to find out all the details.

    Passionate Arguing

From the first scene where their argument leads to a passionate kiss you know this is going to be a good one. The hero and heroine "hate" one another and it is delicious! Love the Hathaway Series!
