Overview

Few people know better than Delta Force soldiers that life is unbearably short and achingly precious. So Cormac Fletcher isn't waiting one more day to marry the love of his life, Emily. Fletch has already adopted her daughter, Annie. Now it's time to officially make Emily his too.

Emily understands just about every woman experiences a few wedding snafus--but they're usually not of the harrowing, life-or-death variety. Fortunately for her, a guest list full of Delta soldiers and SEALs will make this an event to remember--for both Emily and the uninvited guests trying to ruin her special day.

Fletch and Emily's Delta family and friends including Seals and other special friends come together to share their specially day. You will find romance, hot 1:1 time, idiot bad guy reception crashers, brave young women, wise thoughts, and many more plot threads to follow in this story. It is Novella length at 76pgs of story on my NOOK, but full of tidbits and details. Only one detail made me drop the rating because I am a stickler for properly portraying the military - in the Ch2 conversation with Ghost, Fletch said after the wedding he could sign Emily and Annie up for ID cards, Tricare health insurance etc, That is true for Emily, but Annie should have received this as soon as he adopted her because adopted children are legally recognized dependents. A partner outside of marriage may be designated a beneficiary and be designated your person to be contacted in case of injury/death, person to receive death grauity, person to receive unpaid pay and allowances, and beneficiary of SGLI life insurance. Ironicly, only a relative or legal relation may be authorized to receive your remains upon death. Ref Army DDForm93

Loved it!! Always love to read about Annie, and her relationship with the guys. But it was also nice to see how insightful Akilah was in this story. The start of so much healing in this book. I can't wait to to see what happens next to all these folks. I hope Fish will have a book. Humor, action, and love this book had it all. Keep the books coming. Mjw

Susan stoker is an awesome author that sucks you in to every story she writes and makes you feel as if you are there along with all her characters so it was no surprise that I loved this book as I knew I would. Fletch and Emily along with Annie has been one of my favorites since their book was released and I enjoyed reading about their wedding. Annie is such an adorable and hilarious little girl you can't help but laugh. I loved seeing the little side couples beginning and I can't wait to read what's next. Great job susan.

Wow, what can I say but this was an awesome story. You just have to know that nothing is going to go smoothly for one of our favorite couples, so why would they think they can get married without some type of drama. Our guys are looking their best in their dress uniforms, the bride is breathtaking and Annie is so darn cute in her combat boots. It is always great to see the characters involved in the new stories from crossover series, you can never have enough hot military types. While things are going smoothly, bad guys decided to crash the party making things go from fun to dangerous . The seals, deltas and Annie are sure to instruct them in the error of their ways providing us readers with some very entertaining drama.

This is a book 4 in The Delta Force Heroes series and it stars Cormac "Fletch" Fletcher and Emily Grant. WOW! Having all those alpha men in one place had me turning my fan on high. Even Tex was there! Awesome story line! Seeing little Annie walking down the aisle wearing combat boots with her flower girl dress was fabulous. And the reception? Ha! I wish I were there to see all the awesomeness in action. This was a great story line with brilliant characters. I can't wait to read the next one.

Wedding novellas always seem to create mini reunions-my favorite kind! While I liked seeing Wolf and his SEAL team, Annie is the show stealer! With her combat boots and Army guys parachuting out of the basket, she's simply too cute for words! Family and friends gather for a happy day, a few baddies crash the party-they should have done their homework on whose reception they're crashing-and add some action and suspense and I was flying through this novella! Now I need to hunt down a few books I've skipped over in favor of Fletch's to catch up with everyone else!

Fletch and Emily are finally having the wedding and the guests are assembled. When the unexpected happens, the Delta and Seal crew along with a few other recruits step up to handle it . This is the connected book for Rescuing Emily and the reader gets to touch base with with old friends from her series. Love the way Annie interacts and the wisdom of Akilah.

Fletch and Emily FINALLY get their day! Their wedding day, that is! Annie is such an amazing flower girl. The Seals (Wolf, Abe, Cookie, Dude, Mozart, Benny) showed up along with Tex and his family. Penelope (Tiger) showed up followed by Moose as her +1. The rest of the Deltas were there, along with Fish, who was recently rescued from a botched mission by the Deltas and has been taken under their wings. TJ showed up as well, since he was a Delta in his previous career. The wedding has it's cute moments, it's romantic moments, it's wonderful moments. The reception TOTALLY lives up to a Susan Stoker wedding! The drama was so intense, and when the climax came, all you could do was read read read until the smoke cleared and you were able to see who was still standing! Susan Stoker did a SUPER GREAT JOB on this book. I know she has said in the past, she hates to do weddings, but she did such a wonderful job on this book!!! She has her Seal of Protection series, and her Badge of Honor series mixed with her Delta Force series to make a thrilling read!!!!

Loved! Another winner! What could be cuter than little Annie in her Army boots and flower girl dress dropping little Army men down the aisle along with the rose petals? Sooooo sweet! Fans of the genre and/or series will love this book!

LOL!! Getting to see some old faces as well as newer ones all together plus getting the update/new information on others adds to the story! Watching Fletch, Emily and especially Annie in action as they handle a situation with their friends during their special day was awesome! I will admit I shed tears in parts of the story, the rest were laughing out loud great! Also, glad we're getting a peek at how Penelope and Mary are doing along the way. Thank you for another awesome story, Mrs Stoker!!

Susan Stoker’s book 'Marrying Emily' – HEA Book – 5 Stars! Emily is a strong yet vulnerable heroine who has raised her daughter Annie on her own for many years. We first meet them in Rescuing Emily, where our hero Fletch rents his garage apartment to them, falls in love, rescues them and adopts Annie as his daughter. Marrying Emily continues their story. Their daughter Annie will keep you laughing out loud, their marriage vows bring out the tears, and their friend’s interaction at the reception will leave you wanting more. I love all of Susan’s characters and her portrayal of her men and women in uniform, law enforcement, and first responder's, show her feelings for what they do, bringing awareness to the challenges they face. Her love of writing is what keeps me coming back to read her books over and over again. I think you will love this book as much as I did. I’m looking forward to reading more from Susan in the coming years.
