"Katy Regnery is a fresh new voice. I eagerly await every Katy book and I tell everyone I know to read them!" --Carly Phillips, NY Times Bestselling Author

Trust fund playboy, Tom English, was supposed to find a "good woman" and marry her by midnight on his 32nd birthday. If he didn't, his grandfather promised to disinherit him. Unfortunately for Tom, three days before he was set to get married in Vail, his fiance elopes with her skiing instructor leaving Tom high and dry. With only a week before his birthday, it looks like Tom will forfeit his millions.

When Eleanora Watters, a smart, sassy - totally broke - waitress, spies down-on-his-luck Tom English in the breakfast-all-day diner where she works, she doesn't think much of him. He's at least ten years older than she is and he looks like another trust fund jerk with a silver spoon shoved up his...a-hem. But Tom surprises her. Set up on a blind date by Eleanora's cousin, the two bond over books, and after spending just a few hours together, Eleanora offers to marry Tom in order to help him secure his fortune.

After a whirlwind marriage in Las Vegas, Tom and Eleanora begin to realize that they're not as unlikely a match as they once seemed, and their feelings for each other deepen. But when Tom's grandfather sees through their scheme and threatens to cut them off, Tom will have to decide if he wants the money more than the Colorado waitress who seems to be something between "a dream and a miracle."

This full-length, standalone prequel can be read before OR after the six English Brothers novels!

What an amazing love story! I think the way the author set up the story was brilliant. Eleanora and Tom were inspiring and envious. Van and Evie where a huge surprise! I certainly didn't expect their outcome. This is one of those books that when you turn the last page all you can do is sigh with a smile on your face. This is definitely a MUST read. Thank you Kate Regnery for another sigh-worthy story. Received a copy in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed is my own.

Favorite Quotes: “And Tom, who’d known his wife for less than a week, realized that love – a word he’d been reluctant to use before now – didn’t ask for permission. Sometimes it just arrived. Fully formed. And all you could do was hold on to it for dear life." My Review: I have said it before and I can almost guarantee I will state it many more times - I adore Katy Regnery. The hardest task I face in reviewing her superbly written work is deciding on which favorite quotes to include, as I always have several pages of them earmarked. Her books typically contain the magic formula with all the ingredients that I highly desire… a HEA - check, sweet and steamy love story – check, interesting and likable characters – check, wit and humor – check, clever dialogue and banter – check, a well written story and interesting plot line – check and check. And she makes it seem oh so easy. I am hopelessly addicted and already eagerly awaiting her next offering. I fall in love with her all over again with each new book. I enjoyed the back and forth timeline and learning how it all started, as well as the hidden tease of where the English brother’s names had originated – very clever Ms. Regnery!

Marrying Mr. English Part 2 is the continuation of Thomas and Eleanora English's beautiful and amazing love story. It picks up precisely where book 1 left off and further brings to light the unexpected depth of love their swift joining brings as well as the trials and tribulations they must endure once Tom’s grandfather cuts him off. To be honest as I read Tom and Eleanora’s story, I kept waiting for the explosion of anger in frustration of the circumstances they had been left in because of his seemingly unfeeling and uncaring grandfather. But no matter what Tom and Eleanora struggled to overcome, they always came together finding solace in each other’s love and each other’s arms. Despite the limited time they have shared together, the unwavering love and commitment between them is absolutely awe-inspiring. There is an utterly magical connection their two souls find in one another that once intertwined it fights to survive anything that comes their way. As it quickly became evident in the first part of their story, these two souls were incomplete until they found one another with their lives and their hearts being quickly drawn together by love. As I stated in my review of part 1 of this wonderful story, having gotten to know Tom (and Eleanora) makes it truly obvious why each of the English brothers stole my heart as well. Tom has an unquestionable debonair quality which continuously makes him considerate of Eleanora's needs. It is truly evident throughout this entire amazing series that once an English man's heart finds its true soulmate, there is nothing he won't do for her, and he will fight for her until the end of time. As for Eleanora, she absolutely exudes elegance and poise in spite of her upbringing and the background in which she was raised making this couple the perfect match. It seems as though with every addition to Katy Regnery's repertoire of incredible characters and stories, she outdoes herself each and every time, and Marrying Mr. English is yet another example of what an accomplished and outstanding storyteller she is. Katy continues to bring us fantastic characters, and I am ecstatic and forevermore appreciative of being able to be a part of her journey by reading them as they take me on a journey as well. Every one of her stories leaves me filled with emotion and tears of happiness for the everlasting love her characters always find. Katy is the queen of happily ever after. No matter what struggles her couples go through, they always find their peace and heart-fluttering love in the end. Truly magical and outstanding!

Well now I know where the English brothers get their charm! I was gifted an ARC for my honest review of this book. Tom English is a dream! When he sees sassy Eleanora from across the room she is a breath of fresh air! Unlike the socialites he's used to! Ellie is a strong willed and driven woman who knows what she wants and is determined to achieve her dreams! When Tom brings his new bride home his grandfather is outraged and demands Tom divorce her immediately or lose his inheritance. After two days of marriage Tom chooses his wife over his family and his inheritance. As Tom & Eleanora begin married life on meager funds their love grows strong. Tom learns how to rely on his own merit and hard work and Eleanora learns to lean on Tom and trust him. Their love story is one for the ages and reaffirms that true love does conquer all!

Marrying Mr. English by Katy Regnery My rating: 5 of 5 stars Eleanora Watters is hard working, passionate and down on her luck. She has a good heart but has issues trusting it. Her outlook is failure only makes a person more determined to succeed. The perfect attitude for the future matriach of a rambunctious brood of testosterone. Thomas English is determined but his focus is fueled not only by success. He knows there is more to life and wants to prove that he can have have it all. Katy Regnery sprinkles some holiday magic. As a fan of the English family I loved meeting Tom and Eleanora. Seeing the events that started it all and the people who had a hand in creating it was spectacular. It's true, miracles happen when you least expect. After reading this novella, I know that I have to read this entire series. Wild about Weston and Kiss Me Kate here I come. Ms. Regnery ability to draw the reader in is why I enjoy her stories. I received an ARC of Marrying Mr. English in exchange for an honest review.
