This book was educational for the whole family.

We read this book aloud in the month of January in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We all learned a great deal about the life and beliefs of MLK. It also caused us to consider how far our country has come and what we as individuals believe. We would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning about MLK.

    THOROUGHLY ENJOYED

IN CELEBRATION OF MLK DAY, MY SON AND I WANTED TO READ A BOOK ABOUT HIS LIFE. I WANTED A BOOK THAT MY 9 YEAR OLD WOULD ENJOY . WE HAVE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THIS BOOK IT COVERS A WIDE SPECTRUM OF MLK'S LIFE BUT IT GIVES A GLIMPSE OF HIS BOYHOOD LIFE AND HOW HIS CHARACTER WAS MOLDED. WE HAVE ONE MORE CHAPTER TO GO AND IT WILL BE BITTERSWEET. MY SON LOVES THIS BOOK...IT TOOK ME BY SURPRISE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. I AM GOING OUT TODAY TO BUY MORE...PRESIDENTS DAY IS COMING UP.
