Martin Luther's Commentary On Saint Paul's Epistle To The Galatians: Lecture Notes Transcribed by Students and Presented in Today's English
Martin Luther's most comprehensive work on justification by faith, his commentary on St. Paul's Epistle to the Galatians is translated and edited from the Latin into a lively style, paralleling his spoken lectures.

Combined with the passion and faith expressed in these lectures, the biblical foundation for the crucial doctrine of justification is underscored and expressed to a new audience.

The commentary is also a historical document, a recording of a professor in a classroom in 1531 from July to December of that year, which expresses the Reformer's commitment to the good news of Jesus' death in the sinner's place, challenging the reader/hearer to compare St. Paul's theology with what he/she hears in the church today.

About the Author

Martin Luther was a German professor of theology, composer, pastor, and a seminal figure in the Protestant Reformation.
Haroldo Camacho writes from experiencing more than 20 years in the courtrooms. There he served as a certified court interpreter, translating simultaneously from Spanish into English and English into Spanish. He retired from the courtrooms in 2017. Apart from his interpreting skills, he is a trained theologian, having earned a Master's of Divinity, and a PhD in Pastoral Counseling. On occasion, he writes for 1517. He is now retired, living in Southern Florida, and a member at Our Savior Luther Church. There, he serves as a liturgist, Bible teacher, and occasionally preaches the Word of the Gospel. Haroldo is married to Registered Nurse Mercedes, and they both thank God for their 12 year old son, Orlando.
