Marxism for Our Times: C. L. R. James on Revolutionary Organization
Ranging from the 1940s to the 1960s an amazing collection of miscellaneous writings of C. L. R. James (pamphlets, mimeographs, correspondence, lectures) that show him in action and in the process of creating political theory. James's works put a civilized face on Marxism, and in this collection of previously inaccessible papers he is seen as an activist fomenting reform. Preserved by Martin Glaberman, a friend and colleague, these are the handouts with which he worked to promote change in racial attitudes and in colonialism.
