I will admit first and foremost that I have only read the sample version of this book. However, the research quality of what I was able to read turned me off to this book in a hurry. For a specific example, the section that discusses Marx's early life says, "His parents eventually converted from Judaism to Lutheranism to escape the antisemitism of the Nazis." Earlier, the book tells us that Marx was born in 1818. A cursory search on the internet dates the Nazi party's beginnings to 1920 and it did not actually gain power until 1933. Marx would have been 115 years old, and his parents much older, to have been affected by Nazi exclusion. Such a glaring flaw in research puts in doubt the rest of the research done in this book and makes me seriously doubt the author's credibility.
