Overview

Monday, November 25, is a national day of mourning, but only for one of the three funerals held that day; four days later, the new president blocks all investigations into the assassination by naming a Commission made up of seven politicians. Their investigation and results are dismal, pathetic failures, although the media supports them.
The Nation reserves its doubts.

About the Author

Even in his formative years, Walt Brown was fascinated with the interplay between government, law, and history. That fascination reached its apogee with the election of the vibrant and youthful John F. Kennedy, but reached its nadir 1,037 days later when events in Dallas changed, respectively, government, law, and history.
Before he sat down to write this massive Chronology, Walt Brown was the most widely-published author on the tragic events that ended those 1,037 days of “Camelot.” With six books, one extensive CD-rom subject index, and eighteen years of a JFK journal, the forces were all in place to go forward with the boldest JFK study ever attempted.

Drawing on his investigative background during a brief stint with the Justice Department in Washington, D.C., and a forty-year stint as a Ph.D. in history, Brown compiled the ultimate JFK study. Except for selected JFK speaking engagements, the Chronology will complete his work, as Brown is the first to admit that there is not much more he can do.
