Overview

Disavowed by those he swore to protect...

Tennessee Smith is a wanted man. Betrayed by his government and hunted by his former employer, he's been stripped of everything he holds dear. If the CIA finds him, they're sure to take his life as well. His only shot at getting it all back is taking down the man who burned him. He knows just how to get to Senator Hank McDonald and that's through his daughter, Faith. In order to seduce her, he must become something he never thought he'd be--a Dom.

Overcome by isolation and duty...

All her life, Dr. Faith McDonald has felt alone, even among her family. Dedicating herself to helping others and making a difference in the world has brought her some peace, but a year spent fighting the Ebola virus in West Africa has taken a toll. She's come home for two months of relaxation before she goes back into the field. After holding so many lives in her hands, nothing restores her like the act of submission. Returning to her favorite club, Faith is drawn to the mysterious new Dom all the subs are talking about, Master No. In the safety of his arms, she finds herself falling head over heels in love.

Forced to choose between love and revenge...

On an exclusive Caribbean island, Ten and Faith explore their mutual attraction, but her father's plots run deeper than Ten could possibly have imagined. With McKay-Taggart by his side, Ten searches for a way to stop the senator, even as his feelings for Faith become too strong to deny. In the end, he must choose between love and revenge--a choice that will change his life forever.

NY Times and USA Today bestselling author Lexi Blake lives in North Texas with her husband, three kids, and the laziest rescue dog in the world. She began writing at a young age, concentrating on plays and journalism. It wasn't until she started writing romance and urban fantasy that she found the stories of her heart. There are six more books available in the series: Their Virgin's Secret, Their Virgin Concubine, Their Virgin Princess, Their Virgin Hostage, and Their Virgin Secretary, and Their Virgin Mistress.

In addition to the Masters of Ménage series, she is the author of the Masters and Mercenaries series. The first eight novels, The Dom Who Loved Me, The Men with the Golden Cuffs, A Dom is Forever, On Her Master's Secret Service, Love and Let Die, Dungeon Royale, A View to a Thrill, and You Only Love Twice are available now, along with the novellas Sanctum, Unconditional, Dungeon Games, Cherished, Luscious, and Adored.

In 2013, Lexi also began releasing her urban fantasy series, Thieves. The first five books, Steal the Light, Steal the Day, Steal the Moon, Steal the Sun, and Steal the Night are available now. Ripper, the first book in Hunter: A Thieves Series was released in January of 2015.

350+ pages The books in this series just get better and better. Master No was dark. So dark it almost hurt to read. I had to take a few breaks. Instead of taking a few hours to read, it was a day and a half. But dark doesn't mean not good. It was so, so very good. I'm hoping the next books will be lighter with a bit of the levity that was in the first ones but I don't think so. But you can bet anything I'm going to be reading them. A few minor typos. ( like you instead of your) But they are few and far between. I bought my copy of this book.

I have loved this series and enjoyed every book in it, but this one took it to another level. I have wanted Ten's story for a long time and the wait was worh it. I was so glad we finally got to know his background and what made him tick. Be warned though, this book is different from the others in the series, in that it goes deeper. The others have told us about heavy issues, topics, and situations; In this book you go through them. At one point this book gut me. I bawled like a baby. But there is light at the end of the tunnel... Thank you Lexi, for a wonderful book! PLEASE bring the next ones fast! I would HIGHLY suggest reading this series, and doing it in order. Tough, strong, brave Doms that love fiercely and tenderly; Capable, complex, smart women that help bring down the bad guys/girls; Intense, action packed ops and missions and Hot, hot, hot scenes that take place all over the world... What's not to love?

If you loved the Taggart boys stories, this is definitely not the same. There was way too much cloak and dagger and not enough heat. Tennessee was supposed to be the ultimate Alpha, but this book didn't get it at all. Plus, where was the woman with attitude like Grace and Charlie had? Eva's character was flat. Good thing I read the first two before this one, or I'd want my money back!

I've read every single book written in this series and will continue to do so... but this is SO disappointing. Altho' the action was really great, the storyline really good... the disconnect between the hero & heroine was miles & miles. There was No passion or chemistry At All. No nothing, even the scenes weren't sexy... just robotic almost. And it was absolutely the other characters & their lives & perspectives that made it even worth continuing the story. Disappointed as I am, can't wait until the next installment! I'll be the 1st one in line!!

As posted on The Smutty Kitty reviewed by Knotty Kitty 5 out of 5 Licks Lexi Blake is not a writer to pull her punches when it comes to plot twists, so it should come to no shock that Master No is a book that keeps you one your toes both mentally and emotionally. I will not get to detailed on the ins and outs of the story. I feel it would really spoil the greatness of this book. I am a huge fan of the Masters and Mercenaries series. With each book the series just keeps getting better. Tennessee Smith is man that keeps you intrigued from the moment he first showed up. There aren’t many men that keep Big Tag on his toes, but Ten is one of the few. Now that he has been burned by the CIA, and is working at McKay-Taggart you get to see the man he truly is. He is going undercover to get the man that ruined his life and career. Getting into Ten’s head has been such a great experience. I honestly didn’t think she could top my love for Ian, but damn is Ten every bit as dynamic a man and Dom. Faith McDonald is the daughter of the man that ruined Ten, and his way in to get his revenge. She just might be more than a target though. She has gotten under his skin in the time they have spent emailing each other, and he isn’t sure if he likes that at all. I think she is just the woman he needs to mend the wounds he has carried around all his life. Run don’t walk to buy this one. You will be sucked in, and held hostage till you finish it. Then you will be like I am, on pins and needles waiting for the next installment.

Beyond five stars! The best book yet How Ms. Blake does it is beyond me. The action, drama and suspense was the best ever. Storyline is never duplicated and each Dom & sub different. She refers to previous books without giving away anything for those who haven't read the series in order. Always a stand alone book. Wow, just wow. You will not go wrong with this series.

Faith is a doctor in Africa. Theo and Erin are sent as her bodyguards and to get her to return to Dallas and join Sanctum. Ten has been disavowed by the CIA. He never understood the guys fascination with D/s but has been training to be Faith's Dom. Ten is after her father and is going through her to get to him. But he doesn't expect to fall in love. Secrets, lies, sexy Doms, and some sex. Be prepared to laugh and cry. A real page turner.

I was sooo waiting for Ten's HEA. He seemed to need it more than anyone else. Strong characters and great plot. As always the added bonus of cameos by the Taggert-McKay crew was entertaining. I can't wait until we get more from this story line. The mysteries are getting deeper and darker and oh so thrilling.
