Overview

Book 2 in the Brides of Caralon series.

Teesia, the middle child of the ruler of Caralon, is a passionate soul who cannot resist luring the rugged Ralen of Charelton into an intimate encounter on their first meeting. But when she is later given in marriage to Ralen, he is outraged.

Royal daughters are supposed to be pure, and his previous experience with Teesia gives Ralen doubts. He understands immediately that his new wife needs to be taught that she belongs to him-and him alone-in the bedchamber, and given that he harbors some . . . unusual sexual appetites, her lessons are sure to be an erotic adventure for them both.

Note: Caralon is a land where anything can-and often does!-happen. Featuring scenes of same sex interaction, multiple partners and public sex, the series is definitely not for the faint of heart. You have been warned . . .

Great Book in a Great Series

This book includes the prequel and second (but not the first) book in the Brides of Caralon series. The prequel is a novella about how the bride's mother and father get together. It's okay (this from someone who prefers novel-length stories).

As for the second book, there is a strong BDSM theme woven into the romance that grows between the new bride and her husband (there's a little of that in the others stories, but it's strongest in this one). The love scenes are smoking hot, graphic and creative.

The series takes place far in the future of Earth, the world-building is wonderful without being overly detailed. The plot is fairly basic, but the characters are rich and the conflict believable.

I really liked the book, but it has a different slant than the first book.  It;s a little darker, but it has more pages than the first book.  It has
approx 400 pgs, but mostly sex, not a lot of plot.
