But with her boyfriend "entertaining" in their cabin, she has nowhere to sleep. Logan, the lodge owner, finds her freezing on the porch. Rebecca knows that no one can love her plump, scarred body. But, to her surprise, Logan disagrees and is quite happy to show her just how much he enjoys her curves. Under his skilled hands, Rebecca loses not only her inhibitions, but also her heart.

Damaged from the war, Logan considers himself too dangerous to be around the enticing little sub. He sends her away for her own safety, not realizing she thinks she's been rejected because of her size. When Logan's mountains echo with her voice long after she's gone, he knows she's left behind part of herself-and taken his heart. But when he arrives in the city to reclaim her, Rebecca's phone has been disconnected and her apartment is empty...

Master of the Mountain, my first Cherise Sinclair book

First of all, this is my first review. Yikes, I am a little anxious to go admit in public that I am addicted to reading books such as this. I am a 'lurker' in that I read other peoples' reviews and make selections based on what is said, but don't ever write them. That said...this book by Cherise Sinclair was more than I expected.
The woman featured in the book, Rebecca, is unfulfilled in her current relationship but agrees to go to a swingers weekend with her live-in boyfriend. She is reluctant because of issues with her body image and lacks self confidence. As the long weekend progresses however, she comes to perceive herself in a different light based on the attention of one of the brothers, Logan, who own the lodge. Logan has his own demons as well and I am sure you will join me as the two of them find their way to fulfilling each others needs.
One compelling aspect of this story (other than the really hot sexual scenes) is that Sinclair develops the characters well enough that they are believable. In addition, she fills in the story line with enough detail that the reader can truly imagine (fantasize, oh my) the attraction between Rebecca and Logan. And lastly, she creates the characters with enough flaws to make them endearing to the reader.
I recommend this book to other readers and look forward to reading other books by Cherise Sinclair.

    SPICY !!!

Master of the Mountain: Is a great story of love and bdsm. Little does Rebecca know she would meet Logan Hart the most popular (Dom) at Dark Haven. When she tags along with her boyfriend Matt to a swingers club weekend, she realizes that this lifestyle is not her thing. When Logan meets Rebecca he knows she is a true submissive at heart. Taking her to bed with him one cold night proves to Logan what he already know. Rebecca fears, but loves what Logan does to her and makes her feel (Sexualy) at night. While everyone else is jumping from bed to bed, Logan is taking Rebecca on a wild ride into the world of (BDSM). With the fact that Logan wants Rebecca for his submissive and his lover, he must deal with the nightmares and his personal past in order to have Rebecca in his life forever. Rebecca must come to terms with her feelings for Logan and her soon to be ex boyfriend Matt. When Logan pushes Rebecca out of his life she feels rejected and hurt. Rebecca goes home and makes some major changes in her life, even if means finding a new dom to make her feel whole again. Logan has different plans for Rebecca and moves mountains to find the women he loves, and the submissive that he knows is his for life. Read this one for great sex and a fun trip in the montains, and read the battle for true love.!!!

Another Excellent Book by this author

Cherise Sinclair's books are tops. I have kept track of eBooks that I have purchased and hers top my list - by far! It is helpful, but not necessary, to read them in order as familar characters make return appearances, even if briefly. That is something that I like. This series (The Doms) is not as good as the Shadowlands series, but her mix of story and 'smut' is just right for me. The next Shadowlands book is supposed to be released May 28 - not sure what's next for the Doms.

    Hot Hot Hot

This was way better then 50 Shades in my book. Lots of sex, but the story was good also. My only problem with this is the ending sorta just stopped. I felt like it needed a paragraph more to make it nice and neat.

    Very good erotic about BDSM.

This is an easy read. It's a page turner, with minimum characters, easy names, and gets right into the story. She is my favorite erotica author. I'm reading all her books. You don't have to go in order, but if you find you like one, then by all means go in order!

    Extremely Erotic

The story was not only believable but I found myself wishing I could find this lodge and spend a weekend. I am fairly new to reading about BDSM ( and I am sure my husband doesn't have a clue that I am doing this), and I have found some pretty raunchy stuff. No here. It is well written, the characters are people you could probably work with and the entire story was great. I would recommend this to anyone....over 18 of course.

    Sweet and steamy

Logan and Rebecca are a sweet passionate couple. They each have past and present issues to overcome, and help each other do so.

When I first started reading this book I wanted to KILL Rebecca'

When I first started reading this book I wanted to KILL Rebecca's boyfriend. What a douche! But then Logan stepped into the picture....and dang did he ever make a fine entrance. After reading the Shadowlands I knew I had to read the rest of Cherise's books. I started these next. I highly recommend them.

    Loved It

I'll read anything by Cerise Sinclair and this one was just as good as all the others I've read. I love real alpha males who are still kind and good hearted, at least outside of sex.

Can't lose buying anything from Cherise but these full length books are the best!!

    enjoyable read

I'm enjoying the series. I like how the author intermingles the different characters from the other books. The lead characters in this story were entertaining, scintillating and I was right there with them throughout the story. My only peeve is the need for an editor, but not nearly as bad as some of the other ebooks I've read.

    Wonderful new series

My review from Goodreads: Another good story by Ms Sinclair. I’ve read some of her paranormal books and her BDSM genre is just as good. This story is about the awakening of Rebecca. She goes with her boyfriend to a swinger’s retreat thinking to show him she can be wild…and she goes wild just not with the swingers or Matt.

A well written story that I thoroughly enjoyed reading.
