Ok, ok, I HATE reading out of order but I also don't like to spend money on books I end up not liking. So, I read the 2nd Act before I read the first one, Master of the Opera, Act 1: Passionate Overture. But now I'm super intrigued so I bought the first one and I'm going to read it next.
I'm totally into this right now. Since I haven't read the first one yet, I'm pretty sure this is a retelling of Phantom of the Opera (I'm a fan). Its a little dark and has a hint that there may be some sexy kink later. I'm not really sure yet and cant wait to find out.
There is a scene between Christine and the Master that I loved and I wanted to scream to Christine to let go and "trust your gut". I wanted a kiss soooo bad.
We have a mysterious murder (from the first book), a ghost, a boyfriend whom everyone seems to not like and someone whose lurking in the shadows...

Master of the Opera, Act 2: Ghost Aria by Jeffe Kennedy is the second book in a set of six serialized novels.
Is the Opera Ghost (AKA Master) real? or is he a figment of Cristy's imagination? It has been alluded to that she has mental issues in her past, possibly from a traumatic event. She is beginning to question the validity of the things she has seen.
When she gets to spend some up close and personal time with the Master and he tells her...
I'd prefer you to accept my ropes under other circumstances
then, when she refuses to drink wine with him he also says...
I'm not interested in using drugs to entice your submission, Christine.
it is totally Smokin' HAWT.
Roman's motives and personality are questioned by a couple of characters and the sudden turn from mega"w"itch to happy chick is also suspicious.
As this is the second book and the plot is still building not too much happened, but it's coming. I can feel it!
