    different take on bdsm

    a lot of stories with the 'bdsm' label focus heavily on the 'fetish wear' and 'd/s' labels--i liked this story as it handled the psyche and 'power play' with regards to bdsm in an original and non-gimmicky kind of way. 'bdsm' can be such an interesting topic that way, which was handled well by the author here--the writing was hot, intense, and very real, to complement an erotic story told via the 'bdsm' lens.

    Not good

    This short story was not intelligently written. Nor should the reader get the idea that this is how BDSM starts within a relationship. This is rape, not a fantasy come true.

    Good read!

    The story pulls you in and shows the complexness that a new submissive feels during their first scene. Although the reality that a rape victim would be able to enjoy and embrace the situation is unlikely, the author creates a situation that the participants were able to agree and negotiate, making the nonconsent somewhat consensual.
