Nikon has never been known for easy to read manuals for their cameras. I've had the opportunity to read a few of the D7000 "how to" books and while all stand on their own merits, Darrell Young's is, by far the easiest and well put together. He doesn't get too technical or delve into all the minutiae that others do. He lays out real world situations with reasonable explanations that are worded so almost anyone can understand. If you're new to the dSLR world and the D7000, this is the perfect book to start with. If you're not, no doubt you will pick up some new information and find many examples to spur your own thoughts.

Funny you should ask.  I do not own a Nikon D7000, the camera and book could be great, but I'll never know.  What I don't understand is how I ended up purchasing the book in the first place.  One day I opened my e-mail and there was my purchasing confirmation.  Has this happened to anyone else?
