Welcome Back to Bliss, The Land of Happily Ever Afters!

Lindsey Castellano couldn't ask for more. She's the most successful divorce lawyer ever raised in Bliss. (Never mind that she's the only one.) She's her nephew's favorite aunt. (For the moment, anyway.) And thanks to a little gift (or curse) from the universe, she's an expert at avoiding love, commitment, and inevitable heartbreak. Or so she thought until the night of her sister's wedding.

Will Truitt might've grown up living a country song-his momma died, his daddy went to prison, and his dog ran away-but as an adult, he's been blessed by the country rock gods. Being Billy Brenton on stage isn't an honor he takes lightly. He likes to give back what fame has given him, which is how he finds himself happily crashing a wedding in this quirky little bridal-obsessed town. The one thing he isn't counting on, though, is colliding with the only girl he ever let himself love.

It's been fifteen years since Lindsey shattered his heart. Then, she'd been a sorority girl on her way to the top, and he'd been a lowly janitor with a little bit of a dream. Now he's on top of the world, and she's the last person he should need or want.

But she's the only person who has ever inspired his music. And he's the only man she's never been able to forget. Have the years made them wiser, stronger, and better able to love, or this time, will they simply crash and burn harder?

Oh boy, where do I begin with this one? There are some books that just leave you a little speechless. Matched by Jamie Farrell is one of them for me. It is difficult to put into words why this one pulled at my emotions so much. I am so in love with this story. I don’t have anything obvious in common with the main characters, but their emotions and feelings reached out to me physically. Not just in my imagination. I felt the characters’ pain. Their heartache. Their yearning. But I also felt their joy. Will and Lindsey are the hero and heroine in Matched, the second book in the Misfit Brides Series. They met and fell in love one spring break many years before and now Will is back to see if Lindsey is still the one for him. Will is the country-singing southern boy who stole my heart from the beginning and never let it go. His southern charm and heart melting song lyrics were enough to want to push Lindsey out of the way and take him for myself. But, his heart only wants Lindsey. We met Lindsey in Blissed, as Natalie’s sister and the divorce lawyer who is not always welcome in the most married-est place on Earth – the town of Bliss. However, she is not the tough, baby-eating rebel lawyer that everyone sees and Will is the only one that can all her on it. She inspires him and his music but she is so lost she fights him and her feelings every step of the way. Will and Lindsey are both struggling with finding their true self and happiness. When they are together they are amazing. They believe in each other like no one else does and the love and respect they have for one another is so palpable. Being together makes them a better version of themselves. Their romance is an interesting one. Lindsey puts limits on it because she doesn’t want to get hurt. Will believes he can get past the line in the sand she draws. It is a wild ride for sure and never a dull moment with the two of them. Oh and the intimate scenes? Perfect. The balance between detail and imagination works great for these stories. I especially enjoy the steamy scene in which they are interrupted. One of the best things about a series is meeting up with old friends from past books and being introduced to new ones. In Matched we get more of Natalie, CJ, Pepper and Kimmie among others from Blissed. We meet Will’s family and let me tell you, I would love to see his sister Mari Belle go head to head with Marilyn (QG) and find out who wins. Farrell is so talented at adding little bits of quirkiness to each of the characters and it really brings them to life and makes them human. We all have quirks in our personalities. Matched is an incredibly emotional journey from beginning to end. I was constantly flipping pages and could not put it down. If you are looking for a contemporary romance that will inspire you through laughter and tears and a few country songs, give Matched a try.

Will "Billy" Breton and Lindsey Castellano met on Spring break when they were 19 years old. They had a week long fling that ended in broken hearts. Now fifteen years later they meet again at the wedding of Lindsey's sister. Will they get their second chance? I loved Will and Lindsey's story! It was full of humor and fun. Jamie Farrell does a great job of writing about the quirky town of Bliss. It was fun catching up with the town and I can't wait for Kimmie's story! I would definitely recommend this book.

As a reader, it is rare to see that spark of an author who makes me want to read everything she's written . Jamie has done that to me. In her newest book, Matched, we return to the most married-est town on Earth, Bliss, IL. Jamie has such a sense of humor and timeless contemporary writing about her, that she reminds me of Jennifer Crusie. Don't miss the first 2 books in the Misfit Brides of Bliss series, Blissed and Smitten.

When Lindsey and Will were 19, they met over spring break on a ski slope. Lyndsay wanted to become president and Will wanted to be a country singer. Their last night together, Will called Lindsey onstage and told her he loved her. Lindsey had a secret about her personal gift (not music) and broke Will's heart in front of everyone. Fifteen years later, Lindsey and Will meet up at Lindsey's sister's wedding. Lindsey is a successful divorce lawyer (giving people and love a 2nd chance) while eating babies for breakfast. Will is now known as Billy Brenton a world famous, Grammy winning superstar. Both are knocked off their feet when their worlds' collide, but Billy is the first to recover. Billy had lost his song writing muse, but when he saw Lindsey again, the music began to flow. Lindsey was determined to avoid Billy at all costs, because her gift showed a possible change in their compatibility, but Lindsey couldn't be sure. The usual Bliss characters return in this sequel. There are so many adorable sections when Kimmie (I can't wait for her story) talks about her sugar induced dreams to everyone. Nat and CJ return and CJ's sisters are more prominent in this story. And the resident mischief maker is always there sharing her good-will. I felt Lindsey's story was a bit choppy at the beginning, but smoothed out as I read more.

Jamie Farrell has given us a wonderful second chance love story with some humor thrown in that will have you falling in love with the characters that you won’t want to miss it. It’s been fifteen years since Lindsey broke Will’s heart. Now he’s back to crash a wedding not knowing he would run into the one person who has always had his heart. Realizing he’s still in love with the girl who inspired his music. Can they rekindle the love that hasn’t really been forgotten? I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This book in the Misfit Brides series is a reunion romance featuring Lindsey Castellano (outwardly tough divorce lawyer, with a soft heart and a gift for matchmaking) and Will Truitt (aka: Billy Brenton, country music star). I really loved Lindsey and Will and the many quirky characters. There's a lot of humor and a little bit of heartache, but I can't wait to return to the town of Bliss. The stories in this series seem to happen concurrently, so feel free to jump in the fun at any point.

I so loved this book. One of the big draws of this book is the humor and if you follow Jamie Farrell on Facebook you see her shine through her writing. There are quirky characters that are just so lovable and capture your heart. Will has lost his inspiration to write songs and his honorary aunt tells him he needs to go to Bliss. What he finds is Lindsey and the words just start flowing to songs. Lindsey has a gift that she tries to keep a secret from others. She can tell bad or good love matches, but the problem she can't tell them for herself. In the town surrounding weddings and love Lindsey being a divorce lawyer is a little disconcerting, but it means something different to her. This book is about second chances one of my favorite troupes. I really loved the scene at the Battle of the Boyfriends very fitting and perfect for Will and Lindsey. I can't tell you how much I'm anticipating Kimmie's story. I highly recommend giving a Jamie Farrell book a chance because you won't be disappointed.

Lindsey and Billy get their HEA......only after a long a windy road. Bliss is a crazy fun little town with all kinds of quirks. Fun light read like all of Ms Farrel's books. I love this series and cannot wait to read Kimmie's story. ******received and ARC in exchange for an honest review******

This is a sweet, fun story about second chances. The characters are likable and quirky, in a town that is all about love. Even though this is book two in the series, it can be read as a stand alone. However, once you've read one, you will want to read them all. Ms. Farrell does an excellent job of creating characters that are down to earth and "normal." I love her writing style. ARC received from the author in exchange for an honest review.

A second chance story always strikes a chord with me, because I live one! Jamie Farrell's classic, quirky storytelling makes this a can't miss book. Her characters are well written and easy to relate to, and her plot lines are a perfect mix of complexity and believability. MATCHED is the second chance story of Will and Lindsey; their first chance at love ended quickly and miserably. Years go by and their lives are vastly different, but when their paths cross, there's no denying that the spark is still there. If you love a hunky country boy and a sassy, strong leading lady, you will love MATCHED. And if you like your sweet romances with a little bit of heat and a lot of laughs, you can't go wrong with a Jamie Farrell book!

Matched by Jamie Farrell was an amazing read. I've read Ms Farrell's previous books and not only is this well written book Lindsay and Will's story, but also a visit with old friends from previous books. I love the characters in all of Jamie Farrell's books, but she has outdone herself with this book. Ms Farrell has a flair with dialog and it shines in Lindsay and Will's story. Matched is loaded with humor, drama, a little spice and even a little woo woo (paranormal.) I loved, loved, loved this book and can't wait to read more from Jamie Farrell in the future. Matched is book 2 in the Misfit Brides Of Bliss Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. I received a copy of this book for review purposes.

Lindsey and Will Truit met before Will became country music sensation Billy Brenton. Lindsey dumped Will in a very public manner. Lindsey finished school and became a divorce lawyer. Lindsey's sister, Natalie, is getting married for the second time to CJ. CJ is good for Nat and her four year old son, Noah. Lindsey knows this because she can see good and bad matches. She doesn't, however, want to be Bliss' matchmaker. CJ's sister(one of 11 sisters) was in a band, Billy Brinton's band. Him and his drummer, Mikey, crash the wedding. Lindsey has to leave because Will(Billy) wasn't the only one whose heart was broken fifteen years ago. Lindsey doesn't think she can ever marry and have a family because she can't see matches for herself. While Billy & Mikey are in town, they rent a house and it burns down while they are out one night. Billy loses his favorite guitar, Vera, in the fire. Lindsey goes against everything in her and offers Billy a place to stay. She is the only one that has been able to give Billy the music. Before Lindsey can learn to love, she needs to accept who she is and totally commit. She needs to wear her smiles on the outside and not just on her underwear. Bliss is a small town with all the quirky characters that you find in small towns. I grew up in a small town and appreciate the interactions of people knowing all of everyone's characteristics, good and bad. This book has the small town and hunky country "boys". Who doesn't love a hunky country boy! I also liked the growth in both Billy and Lindsey and their journey to discover who they truly are. Strong women, men who are not afraid to be sensitive and a small town gives you a book to get lost in for a weekend!

I have totally loved this series as Ms. Farrell brings a wonderful refreshing breath of fresh air to her stories. Jamie puts the laugh back in laughter with her wonderful sense of humor that will keep you smiling and laughing throughout her stories. There is nothing better than second chances to be able to redo or undo the hurt and pain. Lindsey and Will get this chance as they take a walk down memory lane. Lindsey is a little on the bullhead side she is scare to see things as they truly are. Her fears just might keep her from the love of her life. Will never understood how she walked away from him. He was hurt so bad now he must decide if it is worth the risk to try again. Both have fears, but love with all they have as each has something the other needs. Lindsey needs to try to find her true self and be what she is meant to be. Will is just what the doctor ordered even if Lindsey herself doesn't agree. Will needs to be able to write again and he can only do this with Lindsey near The author brings back some wonderful characters as we see where they are and what is going on in their lives. She also bring some new ones that might be a little on the crazy side. So many people need help Lindsey might be the only one who can help them but first she must believe in herself. I loved this couple as they butt heads to find their way to a HEA they will have to go through some painful memories and more heartbreak before they can even find happiness. I love bliss it is a town with so much going on the QG is a hoot as she pushes her way to get what she wants. This is one time she might not get it! Jamie gives you a very well written story that you will not want to put down. Her writing style is like no other as she gives you a story you can sink your eyes into. This will be a book you have trouble putting down. I found Miss Jamie when she wrote her first book and have been hook on your stories every since. I know when I see her name it is a book I must have that it will be loaded with fun and humor as she tells a story of heartbreak and pain. Her stories are always highly entertaining as Match is. If you are looking for a story full of humor, drama, with just the right touch of spice than you need to pick this lovely read up. Find out whatever one is talking about with the supernatural who can tell if you are with the correct match.

A beautiful journey of love, redemption and learning to believe in yourself. Lindsey is one tough cookie. She grew up in Bliss, a town focused on weddings, and she has a gift. She can tell when a couple is a good match but when sharing her knowledge in college turns her friends away, she decides to hide her gift. Though, one spring break she encounters Will, a fabulous guy that sweeps her off her feet until she gets scared and breaks his heart. She boldly becomes a divorce attorney, something no one in Bliss wants to consider. Will shows up in Bliss, he is now a famous singer, having achieved all his dreams. When Will shows up, Lindsey's match meter goes haywire and she still believes they aren't a good match. As Will finds his music, can he crack open Lindsey's heart?

The second book in the Misfit Brides series is a story of second chance romance and acceptance. This story is a humorous romantic read but does have some drama. The plot and characters are well developed and I found myself becoming immersed in the story. Definitely a page turner and can't put down till you finish book.

Loved Will's and Lindsey's HEA. With a few bumps in the road. They met fifteen years ago as teenagers and ended badly. Fast forward, Lindsey is now a divorce lawyer and Will is now a big time country singer. Now in Bliss, the town known for weddings they meet up again. Lindsey has a secret gift for matchmaking, but does not want it to work on her. She gives Will and her three weeks of bliss, will it be enough. I love the town of Bliss and all of it's quirky residents. It was great to catch up the couples of Bliss. I so enjoyed all of the southern sass and cooking. I may be biased but I loved the dog, Wrigley!! Looking forward to reading Kimmie's story. I received this book form the author as a gift for an honest review.

Matched is Jamie Farrell second book in her Misfit Brides of Bliss series. I love reunion stories and Matched definitely did not disappoint. It was filled with humor and had me laughing out loud on more than one occasion. Match a divorce lawyer with a gift for matchmaking and a musician that writes stories from the heart and the end result is a wonderful story about accepting who you are and believing in second chances. I especially love this little town of Bliss. It’s a special place. I enjoyed reading Matched and look forward to reading the next book in the series. I’d like to disclose that I received an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Matched by Jamie Farrell is book two in the Misfit Brides of Bliss series and can be read as a standalone for those that haven’t read the first book. But trust me, you will want to grab the whole series! Matched revolves around Lindsey and Will getting a second chance at love. Lindsey and Will fell in love 15 years ago and all it took was one week for their feelings to set in. But, Lindsey is what you would call a matchmaker. She has this intuition about “bad matches” and decides to break up with Will by telling him they are a bad match. Will goes on to become a top rated country music star and Lindsey becomes a divorce lawyer. They never forgot about each other though! Will makes an appearance at Lindsey’s sisters wedding and they finally see each other again. All the feelings and emotions come back and one thing is for sure, their chemistry is still as explosive as it was 15 years ago. I adored Matched!!! Once I started it, I couldn’t put it down. Matched is a heartwarming story about accepting and believing in yourself. Lindsey and Will are a must read!

Matched is a romantic but fun and quirky book. A divorce lawyer who has a gift for knowing if a couple is a good or bad match with country rock singer whom she had jilted because she had "seen" that they were not a good match when they were nineteen. I thought that this was really unique and fun. Add on a song that Will wrote for Lindsey about his snow angel's smiles. That was really a hoot. One of the secondary characters Kimmie was really interesting and funny. If you love romance with quirkiness added to it, you'll love this book. I also enjoyed reading about Mikey and Dahlia again. I had read their story in Smittened and it was great reading about their story from another angle. To quote one of the reviewer (Carol), "This is a story of second chances at love and accepting who you are and finding your place in life. The place that makes those smiley faces smile and makes our hearts sing." I think Carol really described this story very aptly. I was gifted this book by the author in exchange for an honest review. All conclusions are my own.

Matched by Jamie Farrell is like a beautifully written country song. Jamie put together the cute town of Bliss with southern charm, humor and a loving story of Will aka Billy and Lindsey. All the characters were written so well, it was like watching an episode of Hart of Dixie. I absolutely loved this book and would highly recommend reading this one. Jamie Farrell's books flow effortlessly from beginning to the end. I was given an ARC, for my honest review.

What an amazing story! I just love Lindsay and Will's story. I love that Lindsay tries to keep her matchmaking skills hidden from others. Never a dull moment. The book has romance, humor and a bit of drama. It will be a book you will hate to see end. I can't wait for Kimmie's story. I just love this series!

Adored this book (second in the series Misfit Brides Of Bliss, but can be read as a stand alone.) The love story between Lindsey & Will began way back when they were teenagers & ended badly. When Will (now a big country singer) shows up to sing at her sister's wedding they get a second chance at love. I won't spoil the fun by giving away the details but its not your usual love story. Such a fun book.... love the crazy town of Bliss. Was given an ARC in return for an honest review.

I loved Lindsey and Will's story. I was intrigued by "Billy Brenton's" story when I read Mikey and Dahlia's book. This book did not disappoint. Lindsey and Will, aka Billy, met on spring break 15 years ago. They had a great week together, but then she humiliated him on stage after he professed his love. That led to him writing the best songs of his country music career. He's now hit a writing slump and decided some R & R is in order to get him back on track. I loved the chemistry when Lindsey and Will see each other again for the first time. I loved how much Kimmie was in the book. It makes me really look forward to her book. This was a great story and great series.
