    Nice workbook with one caveat

This series is pleasing to the eye as we have come to expect from DK. My only caution would be that they tend to be below grade level so that for a bright second grade student this book might be too easy or merely review for the most part.

    Home School textbook

I use this series as our homeschool math curriculum. You could do as little as one worksheet a day to stretch the book out to last a school year but we do 3 a day and get through the book in 3 months. I supplement with online, build-your-own worksheets when needed. After completing the 2nd grade workbook she scored 100% on the 3rd grade TAKS test.

    Fabulous book!

This book is one of the best out there! It's backing up what my second grader is doing in school. The book covers double digit adding and subtracting, money problems, telling time, measurements, bar graphs, polygons, fraction and more. For multiplying it shows the times tables as the intro and then goes into multiplying and dividing. The best part for the kids is that the book has stickers! They track on the included chart how many pages they have completed. I've purchased the 3rd grade one already so we can keep going!
