    Maybe not quite 5th grade

Very nice graphics and pleasing appearance as all DK books are, but I would say that in most school systems this is more what is taught in 4th grade. It is hard to generalize of course. In any case, it is an excellent series but the individual titles need to be examined to see if they fit the bill for the particular student's course work.
