Mathematic Expression: The Language of Math and How It Helps Us Picture the World We Know
This book is based on the principle that mathematics are simply a way to express and understand things that exist in our real world. An attempt is made to illustrate what many of the key terms and operations within mathematics represent and how we can apply them effectively to solve problems. Understanding how and why we do basic operations, like PEMDAS, within the world of math allows learners to then apply logical and ordered processes to complex problems they will face in the future.

In order to increase access for children who are visually impaired (or just hate reading like me) an audio version of this book will be available on the Tony's Tiny Textbook's Channel on the Spotify App.

About the Author

Homeschooled by a brilliant mother alongside three sisters I learned more by means of verbal explanation, illustrations, and real-life examples from park excursions and weekends boating trips than I ever did in a classroom setting. Taking this upbringing and teaching style to the fleet, I have trained a couple hundred enlisted members in areas including basic physics, electronic theory, and flight fundamentals to support their education, work performance, and advancement. I also assisted many fellow flight officers in studying for "NIFE" and Primary flight instruction which led to the creation of a podcast for Naval Aviators which has reached 51,000 streams. I am by no means an expert in anything: but I have a strong background in electronics, calibration, flight instrument repair, fundamentals of flight, aircraft systems, and teaching. My hope is to make fun books for my four children that can be enjoyed by anyone who is interested in these topics.
