Meet the Author

Srinivasan Keshav is a professor and a Canada Research Chair at the School of Computer Science, University of Waterloo, Canada. He was previously member of technical staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories, associate professor at Cornell, and cofounder of three start-ups. He is author of a graduate textbook on computer networking and the editor of ACM SIGCOMM Computer Communication Review. Keshav has been awarded the Director's Gold Medal at IIT Delhi, the Sakrison Prize at UC Berkeley, the Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship, two Test-of-Time paper awards and Best Paper awards at both ACM SIGCOMM and ACM MOBICOM. Keshav received a Ph.D. in computer science from UC Berkeley.
