    Is this THE Matilda?

Is this a "follow-up" on the sweet 5 and 1/2 girl we all know from Dahl? Or is this a different "Matilda"?

    600 plus pages

I simply could not get interested in this tween book. It was very poorly edited and the flow was jerky. It went went off in numerous directions at once, then returned and lost its self all over again. I think a tween might see the 600 plus pages and be too intimadated to even try this novel. It is rather like the Harry Potter books, all imaginary and improbable events on a much younger and less satisfactory level. It does have a lot of surprizes in the plot and the main character, Matilda, is likable. Thus its three stars from me. For ages 9-13.

    Love

This was a great children's book and a very fast read. I would have given it four stars, but didn't because of the many typos and grammatical errors.
