Welcome to the MATRIX PUZZLE.

This simple program should give you hours of fun.

Four words are scrambled in a 4 X 4 matrix.

Each letter of a word starts off in the left hand column.
All words go from left to right.

You win if you guess all 4 words correctly.

The example shows a word starting with M.
The rest of the leters A,T,E spell out MATE.
If you keyed MUTE you would be in error.

When keying a word only 1 letter per column is allowed.

Each word is displayed in a different color.

There is a REDO button to reset the puzzle,

Thousands of puzzles can be displayed using the NEW PUZZLE key.

If you are stumped use the GIVE UP key.

NO HINTS key brings the puzzle to a new level,
You must finish all 4 words with no hints to win.

The program is not timed ,so enjoy the puzzles.

    This is a good game. The Redo button doesn't work correctly. I thought maybe it just didn't work in the "hints" mode, but it doesn't in the "no hints" mode either. That gets quite frustrating, but if you chose a new game, it does go to that. Will be notifying the developers about this, and hopefully it will be fixed soon. Otherwise, it is fun, and a great game for children that have been reading for a bit.
