This is Louis Bellson's collaboration with Billy Cobham. Some of the material here was performed live and released as a video. The arrangements are likable, but the obvious intent here is to amaze and delight those enamored with virtuosic drumming. The duels between Cobham and Bellson are intense and demonstrate their differences in technique.
