I'm involved with theater and read a play per week. Mauritius is fast paced and original. The script jumps off the page creating great visuals, in a word its a great screen play. Author Teresa Rebeck is widely known for her collaboration with "Law and Order" TV series, this work reflects that experience. Characters are wonderful, just what I'd expect in an urban environment now gone seedy. The plot is straight-forward and believeable in today's society. Enjoy.
