    Not just a guy magazine!

    Although there are a lot of pictures of women in a piece of cloth (or not even that), I really enjoy this magazine. I am a bit of a guy's girl, so I enjoy reading the articles that tend to have more of a focus on things that men think about. My guy thinks it is great that there is a magazine that he can read too!

    Good for NOOKcolor

    This is a decent magazine, with tantalizing photos of ok-looking women. It works well on the NOOKcolor so I'm keeping the e-subscription.

    Dummied down?

    This is by far the dumbest men's periodical ever. It belittles women, makes us men to be mental midgets, back to the dragging our knuckles on the ground phase. Nothing about how to be a real man, a father, a husband. Just how to be immoral at every chance.

    Funny, sexy, and just want I was looking for

    I'm a Photography Major who is constantly looking for a magazine with great photography and something witty to read. I had a ipad with the nook app and decided to give this magazine a try three months ago. I have to say, the photography is very nice. Its great to see very attractive women without the whole extreme blond hair and a novel amount of plastic surgeries. The women look healthy, they photograph lovely, and they really have personality. As a woman, it doesn't offend me to the least, that's the best part.

    Just as good on the Nook.

    Wasn't so sure about magazines on the Nook, but after trying it I think I prefer this options because of the well-categorized layout and ease of finding anything in the issue.
    Only drawback noticed after a few days of use is a lack of an option to read back issues.

    Great Magazine, Wonderful on the Nook Color, wish it had iPad support

    I love Maxim. The articles are entertaining and informative. It works well and looks great on the nook. I just wish that I could also read it on my wife's iPad so we didn't have to take both with us on road trips

    Disappointing

    Tried this on Nook color. 1. The pages don't fit on the screen. 2. If it's a 2-page item in the print edition, it's two pages on the screen, rather than change the aspect ratio of the article's cover. It does go two-page if you turn the Nook sideways, but then the text is so small you can't read anything. 3. There is NO extra content (no video or anything else in the electronic version)

    Ultimately, this looks like something that was put together at the last minute with no planning or thought in a desperate attempt to "have something out there" rather than make a real effort to bring a unique experience to the reader. All in all, a disappointment.

    Lot better then normal magazine

    I can no longer read the paper copy of the magazine. Its not only easier to find articles but it has better quality pictures and easier to read the articles too.

    meh

    The jokes are lame, it just seems like 15 year olds write these articles
    At least most of the girls are attractive so if that's the only reason you read the magazine go for it

    It's Maxim, what is there to say?

    I like Maxim OK but I found I couldn't read it on my Nook Simple Touch very well.
    Graphics are difficult on that screen and you can't navigate very well.
    So I cancelled the subscription. Now I found I can't remove it from my library no way, no how.
    I'm hoping that Santa will bring me a Nook color to read mags better.....we'll see

    false advertising and bad customer service

    After several emails to barnes and noble, a phone call to barnes and noble and a phone call to maxim magazine. i have come to the conclusion that the ad in maxim magazine advertising a free digital magazine with the subscription is just false advertising. during this experience i have found barnes and noble customer service to be worthless. i am cancelling this subscription and thinking of cancelling all of my magazine subscriptions i have with barnes and noble.
