Overview

Our lives are shaped by the values we take seriously enough to practice. What values do you live by? When you examine your values, are you happy with what you see? Do they improve your relationships with other people? Everyone lives by values, even terrorists, gangsters and rapists, whether good or bad, they are OUR values.

Maximize Your Values is based on the insightful experiences and reflections of Liz Stubbs and Amy Bailey, primary staff for Values Count, LLC.

It begins with a Foreword by the Emmy-Award winning television reporter, Spencer Christian. The book provides detailed step-by-step exercises for discussing common values such as Truth, Forgiveness and Integrity. From their experience as writers, producers, film-making, corporate staff, management, and parenting, Amy and Liz use many different stories and quotations to start invigorating dialogue about what we value, what values we live, and how we can do better. The goal here is to elevate us to a higher level of ethical literacy.

What are Values? They're in this Book.

I bought 11 of these books from my local Barnes & Noble Store for friends & family. Recognizing the values that you want to live by requires a mixture of self discovery, dialog, and practice. This study challenges the reader to ¿discover¿ rather than to ¿learn¿ the values that are personally important. . This work also provides the reader with suggestions for ways to discover, practice and internalize personally important values. I would highly recommend this book to individuals and groups who want to discover and internalize these principles for living.
