    Maximum Boost is a great book !

    This is a great book. I wanted to build a Dual Turbo setup for my 1975 Vw Superbeetle, but I had no idea how to even go about doing it. This book helped me to understand the physics and mechanics behind a turbo system, as well as how to design and build my own. Great book!

    the best book for boost

    i think this may be the bes book you could read about turbos.it tells you any thing and eveything there is to know.you can start with the basics.i knew alot about turbos but it was only half of what this book is.i have found so many solutions to fix a problem.if you read this book you can turbo what ever car or truck or other thing you want.the diagnostic info is really good you can find any thing that gos wrong.after your done doing your project turboing you car ect the testing is good.if there is someone who doesnt know much about this you will after the read this book.with the help of this book i helped a friend turbo his car.we had a lot of problems that happened then we got this book and fixed them.now we have made a monster of a car.it runs with no problems now thanks to this book.big thanks to corky bell for puting out this book it truly can help you.

    Awesome book

    This book is awesome, it is very detailed and even teaches you how to choose which turbo is right for your car based on efficiency rates and engine flow. Don't make the mistake of bolting a generic turbo onto your car and sacrificing efficiency. Even if you know nothing about turbos now you will be able to build your own system after you study this book.

    Pretty good

    This is a great book if you don't know much about turbochargers. Some of the information is a bit outdated though and can be misleading when designing a turbo system, i.e. engine computers, fuel/ignition management, etc.. however it does do a great job of explaining the turbocharger itself.

    The Turbocharger Bible

    This book not only explains turbocharging, it provides you with the know-how to build your own turbo system. There are numerous equations listed through out the text and you're even privy to two turbo system installations. One is a twin turbo setup on an Acura NSX and the other is a single turbo setup on a Mazda Miata. If you're going to do your own turbo system the right way, by determining what you want to do and then deciding what components fit the bill, buy this book.

    A truly informative lesson in turbocharging

    If you known only a little about turbocharging before reading this book, you will walk away from it with the knowledge needed make educated decisions when choosing a turbocharger for most any car. Even if you are not a hard core mechanic and just want a better understanding of how turbos work and the components that make them tick, this book progressivly steps you through each component to completely understand why you need each component and how each one performs it's task. I highly recommend reading this book even if you intend to buy a 'turbo kit' for your car so that you better understand the capabilities and limitations of the turbo system to be installed. Knowledge is power!

    Awesome!!!

    If you are looking to upgrade a car to a turbaocharger , or just interested on how turbo systems work. This is the book for you. Not to technical and very well written.
