About the Author

Born into a blue-collar family in Liverpool, England, I immigrated to the US in the early 90s and settled in North Carolina.
I haven't always made the best life decisions. By age eighteen, I had narrowly survived two near death experiences and adopted a lifestyle that showed little promise for surviving to an old age.
In keeping with that ill-considered life-foundation, my work career has been varied (haphazard?) and includes (among others) plumbing, computer programming, sales, marketing, construction, hotel operations, real-estate developing, and farming.
In 2005, through a mixture of luck and some good judgment (even a blind squirrel eventually finds a nut), I found myself with enough time on my hands to embark on a writing career.
