As an unusually reserved high school freshman, Shaylee Williams just wants to make it at her new school with good grades and no trouble. She prefers to be the quiet kid at the back of the class (maybe even make some friends), but a chance encounter with one of Avalon Private Academy’s most popular students might change her heart and mind.

Shaylee doesn’t understand why the Academy’s most popular guy would even look, much less talk to her. In fact, every time she’s around the smart and sexy Nicholas, all she can do is blush and get tongue-tied. Even Nicholas’s friends seem to be aware of a possible spark between them.

Too bad Shaylee and Nicholas can’t see it themselves. The more respect becomes like, the more like turns into love--- and it’s causing the former to get really confused about her own feelings.

If one of them doesn’t let the other know how they both feel, it could get them into so much trouble. If one of them doesn’t confess, the pain of attraction may force them apart forever….

    So good!

It was really good and a relatable teenage love. But the author confuses Amo and Atsu a lot and sometimes refers to Shaylee as "he" when she is in fact a "she". If you can overlook the EXTREMELY confusing errors, it is a book that will makr you happy and at some parts start crying out of sympathy and have tears if joy.
