    more from this reviewer

    Fairly Good

This book is fairly good as to the sections, but sometimes I was confused as to how the book is layed out. I found myself using the e-book and printing and disceting. Overalll a decent book.
The Measure up Tests, I did not even bother with that much as when taking reviewing some of them, I found too many mistakes with them, so I decided to pass.

Introduce feature of windows xp, but not deep enough

I just pass an exam 70-271 after two weeks ago after reading this book. But I worked with windows xp since it was release in 2001. So I have some experience with windows xp before I read this book. In my opinion, this book has both advantages and disadvantages for me. Advantages: This book is well written. The explainanation is very easy to understand and each chapter has a practice and question which elp me to improve the knowledge and test my ability after finish each chapter. Disadvantages: this book just give you an introduction topic for each chapter. It won't provide you any deep technique relate to windows xp. You will need to read additional book before you take an exam and try to practice as much as possible. Whether I have an experience with windows xp and complete this book but I still feel hestiate in before an exam. That is the reason that I gave this book only 4 stars.
