    Not Worth the Money

I tutor English as a second language, and I have been guiding two students through the English, Reading, and Writing sections of this book. The 'strategies' given in this book are laughable and not at all helpful. The explanations for test questions are lacking. I suspect this book was written by those who've never actually set foot in a classroom. In addition, I've discovered many errors that have caused a lot of confusion during our sessions. I will never buy another McGraw Hill book. After using Barron's with some of my other students with great success, I will stick with them for all of my test prep materials.

    Too many errors

I used this book to help students review for the math portion of the ACT. The first day of my preparation I found about a dozen errors in the math tests alone. The errors included multiple correct answers for one problem. There were also erroneous explanations given for why answers are correct. This is hands down, the worst ACT prep book that I have found.

Great strategies and lots of practice tests

This book taught me what to expect on the ACT. I just got my scores back and my score improved from a 24 to a 30!
