I got this to increase my vocabulary while I'm learning Chinese and liked it so much that I got a copy for a Chinese friend's children. Whatever your age, you will have fun using this book to expand your vocabulary. Illustrated with cleverly drawn pictures and organized around all the pertinent areas of interest, the dictionary introduces you to the family with a framily tree that shows the complex way members are identified in Chinese and takes you to the grocery store to encounter familiar and new fruits and vegetables. English, Pinyin, and characters are provided with guides to pronounciation, but it's the pictures that really lock words into memory. A few minutes with a section each day is worth hours with a regular dictionary! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
