    McGraw-Hill's SAT, 2009 Edition

In fact, the previous review is for a different book, '12 SAT Practice Tests' The errors mentioned in that book are actually quite minor and have been rectified in the newest edition. This book, however, is a very thorough and well-written guide to the SAT. The most comprehensive that I've seen. I've used this series for years as a tutor and I can assure you it is excellent. Every book of this scope, including the official SAT Guide, contains occasional typos, and so criticizing a book for that alone is pretty shallow. What is great about this book is that it extremely clear and easy to use, yet far more thorough than the comparable guides from Princeton Review or Kaplan. I highly recommend it.

    Best SAT Book

I saw this book on "Gossip Girl", so I got it and it rocks! After using it over the summer, my score on the October SAT came up 270 points!! Zing! It's thick, but my SAT score is THICKA!

    McGraw-Hill's SAT, 2009 Edition

This book gives terrific practice tests and sound advice to students preparing for the SAT. Students improve their scores through a sensible approach of practicing by taking mock exams, and there is plenty for them to learn at the same time. All sections give succinct test taking advice as well as comprehensive conceptual and practical information. My child benefitted greatly from using this book - and I learned a few things too!

    McGraw-Hill's SAT, 2009 Edition

Thanks for the new edition! I've been using this series for three years now with my students, and the re-vamped Chapters 4 and 11 are a nice improvement!! It's good to see you keeping on top of the most recent changes in the SAT!!

    errors

The version 12 Sat Practice Tests is filled with errors. One entire answer key, Test 2, is incorrect. Several answers in critical reading, when examined carefully, are incorrect. Several line references are incorrect. Ex. Line 9 is actually line 6. And this is only up to Test 5.
