Okay, so here's what happens. Shane and Caitlin are the Romeo

Okay, so here's what happens. Shane and Caitlin are the Romeo and Juliet of County Clare. After one night of wedded bliss he sets sail to America to find his fortune. Two years later he sends money for her to join him. The plot thickens. Her father never shows her the letters. Eight years later he sends for her again. This time dear old dad is dead so she gets the message. She arrives to find they both have changed. She has come to america with her 3 year old niece in tow to keep her from starving to death during the potato famine. He is miffed because he is sure its her child and refuses to believe otherwise. She on the other hand is expected to raise the child of his girlfriend who worked at the local brothel. She is a pretty good sport about this I thought. Anyway they eventually work it all out. Nothing original in the story but well written. I'd loan this to a friend but probably not suggest they buy it. Its middle of the road.
