Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
Reese is looking for his friend Lucy's kitten, but not having very much luck. He has a pal named Robot who offers to help. As he describes certain features of his friend's cat, Robot says "Follow Me" because he is pretty sure that he knows just what they are looking for. Well, a kitten is an animal but Robot takes them to a dog. Lucy says no, a kitten is small and then Robot takes them to some ants. The search brings to light more of the kitten's characteristics and Robot takes them to several more animals that match the descriptions. When Lucy finally shows Robot a picture of her kitten, he really does have an opportunity to take her to its hiding place. Simple words, big type, picture clues and repetition are the hallmark of the Station Stop 1 book in the "All Aboard Reading" series. 2003, Grosset & Dunlop, Ages 4 to 6.
