Overview

The world’s majestic structures stand as legacies to great empires and civilizations. The medieval castles of Europe, Roman cities, and the Great Wall of China still awe and inspire. While the world’s great structures are diverse, they have one thing in common — they all sit on a solid foundation.

Like the great monuments, all great lives and effective organizations sit on a foundation of four cornerstones, which can simply be summed up as Me We Do Be. The Me cornerstone improves the quality of our thinking. The We cornerstone forms our relationships. The Do cornerstone elevates productivity. The Be cornerstone builds our future.

A child can understand the Me We Do Be principles, but these values are at the core of all great lives and every effective organization. They work because they are practical, complete, and balanced.

The objective of the four cornerstones is not to necessarily become a “success” in terms of accumulating power, prestige, or more stuff?. It is to achieve balance and become, as Albert Einstein said, a “person of value.” Indeed, with a solid foundation, we can build anything we want.
