Mean Soupby Betsy Everitt, B. Everitt
It has been a bad day for Horace. A very bad day. He's come home feeling mean. But guess who knows what to do? His mother, of course. Everitt's clear, rhythmic text and bright, contemporary illustrations will make even the grumpiest readers smile at Horace's mother's cure for a bad day. Full color throughout.

loved this book. Very fun to read with the kids
My oldest son, now 11, loved this book when he was a pre-schooler. I was unpacking some of his old books for my youngest, now 3, last week and came across this one again. My 3 year old loves the story just as much! We have read it together at least 20 times in the past week. The story is simple and touching.
I discovered this book at the library. My 3 year old chooses her own, so you never know what you get until you read them. To our suprise Kate and I loved this book so much that I bought two. One for her shelf and one for her preschool. This book is a wonderfull book for teaching how to cope with bad days. I give it 5+.
