Easily one of the best written books of the series. The first page hooked me like nothing else could. My favorite part of this story is simply the unique design of the backdrop that is mars. While we lack a steady Astartes main character we have Titans to make up for that. Seriously this book does so much for the overall Heresy and is a real joy to read.

This is a great addition to the Heresy series. Great background on the Mechanicum and how all hell break loose on Mars. Epic and brutal Titan combat. Good read.
