    Mechwarrior DarkAge: Fortress Republic

Excellent plot and storyline. Just enough action and strategy to keep the military mind happyly entertained. " Jules" Davion the next hero of the Federated Suns. Another strong leader....Hanse Davion like. Hurray!!!

    Best in series!

This book starts and ends strong and doesnt quit in the middle. Loren L. Coleman does an amazing job mixing fast paced fighting with even faster paced politics. Read Scorpion Jar first to get the full grasp of this book. All in all, the best in the series!

    Gargamel

Believe it or not, Wheelie can actually "swim" by driving ontop of the water. Weird, right?

Kirby and the Dark Phoenix: Chapter 7

((I didn't know what the original Heavy Lobster would look like, didn't know if it was a robot or a living being. I got to make a guide for character applications.))<p>Kirby and his friends landed on Lobster Shore, and they proceeded to get off of Dynablade. Lumin said "We are going to have to be cautious. Anything could happen, if Heavy Lobster 2.0 knew we are here." Three blue large lobsters came out, a mu<_>rderous look in thier beady black eyes as they attacked. "Like that." Said Epic. Fortunately, they took care of them pretty easily. Dynablade gobbled up the lobsters as Tac said "That probaly means Heavy knows of our presence here." Kirby thought so, too. They're going to have to be careful. "So, where is this hideout?" Asked Wheelie. Lumin pointed his beak at the sea. "You got to be kidding me." Said Wheelie, exasperated.<p>Because of the fact that Wheelie and Lumin couldn't swim and that Sir Kibbles would rust in water, they chosen to stay behind. Kirby and Epic wore scuba masks. Epic offered hers to Tac, but he turned it down, having brought his own. They swam around, searching for Heavy Lobster's hideout. Kirby finally found it, and waved his arms, gesturing them over there.<p>The hideout was entirely made out of coral. Not bleached, but they were clearly alive, colored with shades of pink, blue, yellow, and red. Epic called out "Hello? Anybody home?" A frothy hiss was heard behind them. The trio turned around to see a pair of beady black eyes standing on two gray stalks. "State your business here." Said Heavy Lobster 2.0. "Um yeah, we here to get the Star Rod back." Replied Epic. A series of hisses which sounded like laughter was emitted, then Heavy Lobster 2.0. said "My apologies, but I do not hold the Star Rod, as Daro would not trust me with it. However, I believe you will make nice little trophies for Daro, and I will be awarded." With that, it boomed "ATTACK!"<p>((Had to speculate on its appearance. Anyway, hope you liked it! Epicness out!))

    Bad novel. Bad!

I like this series, and have been buying and reading them in order. But I must say, this one by Loren Coleman is not a well written story. It feels rushed and disjointed. There are plot holes and loose ends that just get forgotten. A beloved main charactor dies, and its only a single sentance in a minor conversation! And her BEST FRIEND reacts NOT AT ALL! Just silly. I love the Battletech universe, and this book could have been a good one. What a shame.... :(

Call to Arms: Republic of the Sphere, sector VI. Planet Acernar.

Fairly good. Weak battle decriptions. I am not up to speed on all the new hardware weapons and weights. Not clearly explained until near end of book for some vehicles. Predictable plot and death of the knight. Enjoyed otherwise.
