Baker encouraging teachers to help students take in the media around them thoughtfully instead of turning their minds off. Covering many mediums from television to music to the internet among others, it covers suggestions on how to increase media literacy no matter the student's place in the educational curriculum. 'Media Literacy in the K-12 Classroom' is a solid addition to any educational collection and teacher who wants their students to understand the media barrage in their lives."
