I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. As a paramedic it is useful for me to have a good understanding of medical terminology in order to communicate well with doctors, nurses, and other health care workers. This book filled my need for improved understanding while being entertaining and easy to read too. It is not a text and does not have exercise at the end of each section, but would be a good adjunct for a text. I found the anatomy explanations to be very helpful, concise description of subjects made difficult in A&P texts by so much info.

I am in the process of going back to college to obtain a certificate in medical terminology. I have only read about 200 pages of this book but it is very informative. I'm sure it will help me when I start my college classes.
