Assessment: The book is a very comprehensive textbook designed to teach medical terminology. It includes many exercises to encourage learning with an active approach. The black-and-white and color figures are used effectively to encourage understanding of the medical terminology and related anatomy. The textbook would work well in a classroom, providing the teacher and the student with an active learning approach, and would provide an independent study student with a interesting, varied approach to learning terminology.
