    Great book - straightforward and to the point

    Who would have thought those puncture vines I've been fighting for 3 years were medicinal! This is a very good, informative, straightforward book. It is clear and concise without requiring the reader to sort through or have an understanding of different cultural or religious elements. It is a great book for someone who has a basic knowledge of what plant medicine does and wants to learn how to put that into practice. The explanation of and the instructions for the different tinctures, ointments and salves are the best I have found so far. The photographs are not quite what I expected, however with the written descriptions, a good field guide and the internet, positive identification of plants is attainable.
