Karen Ralls, Ph.D., a medieval historian, was Deputy Curator of Art at the Rosslyn Chapel (1996-2001) prior to relocating to Oxford, England, where she continues her specialist research. She has appeared on many major TV documentaries for History Channel, Discovery, and National Geographic. Widely recognized for her groundbreaking research in the USA and Europe, Dr. Ralls is an international conference speaker, sacred sites tour guide, and workshop presenter. Karen Ralls is an expert in her field of medieval history. I waited over a year for this book to be published, and was so eager to read it. The book investigates controversial topics from the medieval period which have led to massive speculation, conspiracy theories, and imaginative genre. This book is not a nay-saying book, out to squelch controversial theories. Ralls investigates the skeptics' views and the speculative views. Additional research topics are included for the medieval history buff. I learned a lot from this book and would recommend it highly.
