    A wonderful cookbook!

    Everything recipe I've tried has come out fantastic. What I like most about this cookbook is that there isn't one soy recipe! This would be an especially good cookbook for vegans with soy allergies.

    Best vegan cookbook I've ever read!

    I love this book! I am not a strict vegan, but do like to keep the majority of my diet vegan for health reasons. I long ago, after wasting too much money on vegetarian cookbooks, decided I would never buy a vegetarian cookbook from a vegetarian. If the only way to make a dish palatable is to add sausage, I'll add sausage, not spicy tofu crumbles. This book is different! It has no tofu, no soy cheese, no texturized vegetable protein, and no new-age processed crap that vaguely resembles, but doesn't contain, a meat or dairy product. It's just really good recipes, true to the region, that vegans, vegetarians and omnivores can all enjoy. My meat-and-potato husband enjoys these recipes just as much as I do. I highly recommend this book!

    Excellent Vegan cookbook.

    The best thing about the recipes in this book is that they are the real thing. They are not 'adapted' to be vegetarian or vegan. They were always vegan to start with. These are the recipes I feed my meat eating friends, because they're not weird. They are the sort of thing you'd normally eat if you were just having a non-meat meal one day.

    AWESOME

    THIS BOOK IS JAM PACKED FULL OF THE TASTIEST RECIPES. And what a variety. In spite of multiple food allergies .... AT LAST I CAN EAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I checked this out of the public library and had a really hard time returning it. I HAVE TO HAVE my own copy!

    Great Book!!

    The recipes were easy to follow and tasted great. And the best thing is there is no soy recipes!!! Would highly recommend to anyone!

    Mediterranean Vegan Kitchen

    I bought great Vegan cookbooks for my grand-daughter and the young man she will probably marry. He is a Vegan, she is not. I bought this for myself, as I want to cook something tasty and something anyone can enjoy when I have them over for a meal.
    Another one which I purchased at the same time, by the same author, is Vegan Italiano, by Donna Klein.
    I am Italian, so I will enjoy cooking the dishes I found in these books.
