    Beautiful

This is truly a good book. It is touching, and makes one feel like they should throw all electronics out the window. And to think that I am still less than half way through...

Interesting, Intimate and Religiously Eye Opening.

“Mejudgorje: The Message” is a very interesting and religious book. Medjugorje starts with Wayne Weible, the author of the story and a Protestant and newspaper columnist, first learning about the events taking place at Medjugorje. Apparitions of Mary were and had been occurring everyday by the cross on the hill for several years to six young visionaries. Mary was appearing to them to give child ten messages about the world and to encourage others to become more faithful through their account of their conversations with Mary. Some apparitions were several hours while others were a couple minutes and some messages the children could share but some were kept to themselves. Eventually, when the children had received almost all of their messages, the apparitions started occurring less frequently but Mary promised to return even after the messages were complete. Wayne was instantly drawn to the subject and felt as is if he was called by the Virgin Mary to share and spread the events that occurred in the small town in Yugoslavia. Feeling as though he was fulfilling his calling and life, he traveled to Medjugorje and eventually traveled around the world, spreading the message and story of Mary and the events in Medjugorje. Major messages and themes found within the story include and largely involve the message that Mary gives the visionaries. These messages are summed up into peace through faith, prayer, fasting, penance, and conversions. Mary stresses these themes to the children who then share the message with the world. Wayne concentrates on these messages in his own faith and conversion. Major themes expressed by Wayne is to follow your heart and that with faith, you can fight through anything. He displays his theme of following his heart by fulfilling his calling of spreading the words of Mary, even though he knew that people would doubt him and not believe him. He follows his heart to Medjugorje and around the world. Wayne also displays his theme of faith by having complete trust within Mary and God and claiming that it was this trust that led him to better times. I loved this book because not only was it an eye opening religious book, but it was also a very interesting story of the happenings at Medjugorje. I appreciated how Wayne exposed himself and how the accountance was very intimate because it made the story seem more relatable and more creditable. I didn't like how biased that it was in that non-religious people couldn't connect to the story as much because the themes and topic of conversation were constantly religious. I recommend this to people who want an eye opening and faithful story or a stronger connection to their faith. I recommend reading the sequel,"Letters From Medjugorje," and the other eight books that Wayne has published. These books go deeper and extend on the story of Medjugorje found within "Medjugorje: The Message". Overall, this novel was very interesting, eye opening and intimate account of a very intriguing and supernatural subject of faith that kept the reader interested from cover to cover.

    Medjugorje Experience

Havung been to Medjugorje and reading the book after, Wayne captures so perfectly the supernatural event that is taking place. It truly must be experienced to apprecite it wholly, but for those who are unable to, the book will relate what a change takes place in one's life.

    Wonderful

This book was wonderful. As a very religous Catholic, I really related to this book and found a great peace by reading it. This book would be wonderful to the non-religous as well. This book compells people to treat everyone well and have a close realationship with God. It further states how we need peace in this world.

This is the best book i have ever read. I like how he starts out doubting the whole thing and through the course of time is drawn there and drawn to believe and just in awe over the crowds of thousands of people doing the same. i would love to go there after reading this book. I recommend it to anyone and everyone. I had a hard time putting it down and have read it over 10 times.

The faith journey of the author is incredible. I couldn't put it down. Sent a copy to a friend who felt the same way. If you have a devotion to Mary, are having doubts about your faith this is a must read.
