While the story was okay, the ending was so frustrating that I found myself wishing I hadn't wasted my time on it. I liked the characters, but the story dragged in the middle so I was reading faster to find out what happened. The author must have run out of words!

I enjoyed the story, mostly, but the ending really ticked me off. No doubt it was done to sell another book. The characters were alright but didnt have their 'snap' together. Hoe obvious do things have to be in orderfor a relationship to bloom, it was dam annoying!

Holy Cow! That was really intense, I loved it. I felt like I was riding Drop Zone at Kings Island. Drop Zone = Passengers free fall down 264-feet. Once released, gravity accelerates the circular 30-foot wide passenger vehicle to a maximum speed of 67 miles-per-hour! It is awesome! In Meeting Destiny the anticipation built and then Bam I was free falling. The end really took me by surprise. An excellent read overall. It is one I could re-read just to enjoy the growth of characters and intrigue. Don't forget to purchase the next book with this one. The ending will drive you crazy till you do. I wasn't sure how I would like this book. Its not what I usually read but a friend recommended this and I could not put it down. The book opens with a literal Bang, and I was able to read it most in a day. Was just a little disappointed in how it ended til I found out there is a second book coming out as a continuation. Hope you enjoy as much as I did.

This book was awesome and i could not put it down.I love Laurens personality she is really fiesty and doesn't just go along with what max says because their together, but some times she acts a little needy which can be sweet or really annoying. I LOVE MAX TO i mean who doesn't love a hot dreamy guy who is so sweet he makes you melt.I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THE SECOND BOOK TO SEE IF SPOILER ALERT:MAX COMES BACK OR NOT AND WHO IS THE GUY WHO HURT HER AND WHY IS HE AFTER HER

OMG, what a thrilling read!  I stayed up until 2am just to finish reading it.  I could not put this book down.  It grabbed my attention from the very beginning and didn’t let go.  I was flipping through pages like a mad woman, trying to find out what was going to happen next.   Romance, suspense, mystery, and so much more; with an interesting paranormal twist.  I couldn’t ask for more.  I can’t wait to read book 2 of this series and more from this author.  I am definitely recommending this one as a must read!

And weird. Not a romance but i needed to finish. The ending left you hanging. Glad it was free.

I gave this a honest effort but this was too strange & boring. She thinks she know the guy the paramedic from a dream. It was just too strange! I dumped it.

This was a great book. It's written with a strong and likeable character that you want to succeed. The book is also unpredictable. It's a great YA book that all ages will love.

I liked the book till the last few pages; completely ruined it for me which made me sorry that I read the book at all. Story was somewhat disjointed.

I usually don't read fantasy like books but i loved this one. I could not put it down. The characters were well written and the chemistry between the 2 main characters was nice. Im looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

This book is amazing...but i think its stupid to have the first book be free and the rest of the series be not.

I started reading this book and couldn't put it down. It starts out with Lauren getting shot and meeting Max, the paramedic. She knows him becuase she's been dreaming about it for four years. The book just keeps getting better. She has a special ability to "read" people and this has helped her and her friends. Then she hears someone talking to her and it's in her head. She thinks she's going nuts. But this woman tells her that there are people in this world who are protectors, mates, etc. There is a reason for everything that happens in the world. The only thing I didn't like about the book is it ended as a sort of to be continued book. Now I have to wait to get the money for the next book in the set. But you have to read it and meet Lauren, gorgeous Max and their friends.

Spoiler Alert:  read on at your own risk if you have not read this book. Meeting Destiny was a paranormal read and very enjoyable.   I really like Nancy Straight's writing style; it flows smoothly.   She is able to create strong and independent main characters.   Lauren has a sixth sense...for danger.   She just needs to learn how to use and assess her sixth sense. She learned she could communicate with Rewsna telepathically.   I perceived that Rewsna was like an overseer(?).     She clued Lauren in to the fact that her Destiny (Max) needed to be awakened to long forgotten memories and Lauren held the key.   Max would be every woman's fantasy lover.  He came on strong early in the story, but his character seemed to weaken as the story progressed. There was a lot of incredible action in this story.  First a burglary at the diner she worked in, then a dilemma at the mall where she feared for her friend's life,  helping the guy she had been suspicious of but learned she had sensed danger for him rather than from him and his destiny, and finally her trip into the mountains with Max that ended with Lauren waking two and a half years of being in a coma. The ending of Book one seemed kind of rushed with so many questions unanswered.   Straight can hold your attention as you long to learn and read the rest of the story.

The relationship and chemistry between Max and Lauren is truely wonderful and beautiful. The story is a perfect mixture of crime fiction, romance, and a little bit of fantasy. The way the story is constructed was well done. The crime within the story are good events of action...the romance isnt over done and the issues that arise in the relationship between lauren and her friend and max are realistic...i could feel laurens pain...her questions...her emotions...the only problem that seemed to arise was her inconstaant babble that occured sometimes in the story...i think laurens ability is reasonablly...sorry about spelling...believable. i wish there had been a little more on lauurns relationship with her parents but there wasnt but im guessing that thats because it wasnt as important. I cant wait to get the second book and i read this one in two days. Greatly written.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, both the story line and the writing style. I would give it 5 stars if not for the fact that it ended too abruptly for me. The writing is of high enough quality that I would have been interested in reading more of the author's books, but I hate the feeling that I have to read the next in the series because I didn't get the closure I need. I'll probably read the next one anyway. I finished this one yesterday and I'm reading something else, but I keep going back to Meeting Destiny in my mind and wondering what comes next!
