I think the concept of spirit guides is fascinating and I would have liked to have learned more about them, especially their pasts and histories. Dialogue flowed well and easily transitioned between characters. I loved how "doddering" the dad sounded! It was the perfect kind of dad who puts up with his little teenage girl's wishes because he's wrapped around her little finger. All of the characters were pretty distinct, which I liked, but it was a little hard to get deeper because it is so short
