Melt Into You [NOOK Book]

Emotionally raw and Amazing!

I preordered this book because it was Jace story and it didn't let me down. It was all I expected and more. Melt Into You is the best book I've read this year. It's a story that is emotionally raw. I laughed, cried, I wanted to scream at times, I was so drawn into the story I felt what each character was going through.

After meeting Jace in Crash Into You, I couldn't wait to get his story. He's not exactly what you expect. There's so much more to Jace than his flirting, his charm and loyalty to his friends. He's a deep character who has a history with Evan. She was a foster child his parents took in. I thought maybe flashbacks to see what the characters went through and were like would have been needed but the story works perfectly as it is.

Jace and Evan madeistakes as teenagers and ended up losing contact with each other. They run into each other a few years later and what they had is still there. Only thing, Evan is engaged to Dr. Dan. He saved her so she feels like she owes him. There were so many times I wanted to scream at Evan. I felt like Daniel was taking advantage of her, using her and she didn't see it. I wish Daniel had stepped up and had cleared things up and not had let Evan take the fall. If he truly had been her friend and loved her like a friend, he would've told people his secret.

Andre is Jace best friend and they share women. There is no doubt that sparks fly as soon as Andre and Evan meet when Jace rescues her. They all meet up at The Ranch where Andre and Jace go to play and Evan is there because her fianc¿ lets her go. Sparks fly between all three and as much as try all try they can't keep there emotions out of the relationship. They all fall in love, though Jace and Evan already have feelings for each other. What they go through is complex and heart wrenching. My heart bled for them. Evan has a secret that can tear them apart.

I loved this story from beginning to end. The only other authors who have made me go through so many emotions while reading their books have been Nora Roberts and Danielle Steele. I've read Roni's two other books Crash Into You and Still Into You and she just keeps coming up with a better story line. I highly recommend this book. It's a beautiful erotic romance story. I wish my review could be better. All I can say is run out and get this book. It's so much better than the other erotic books I've read. Now I just have to patiently wait for the next book in this series.

Roni Loren hits another one out of the park!

You know how everyone has a couple authors that no matter what they write, you'll buy it and read it without even reading the description? Roni Loren's one of those authors for me. She never disappoints.

Although some of the material in Melt Into You wasn't exactly up my alley (oh, that's such a bad, Freudian pun) Loren has an amazing talent for presenting things so deftly and diplomatically that readers can't help but get drawn in. Yes, people, there is a plot and a darn good one.

I adored the heroine, Brynn, in Loren's first book, Crash Into You, but I really loved Evan in this book for her personal flaws. The characters are captivating, extremely well-developed and of course, swoon-worthy. Loren's hit another one out of the park and I look forward to the next book in the series.

Really a 4.5 for me. Really well done and absorbing. Complicated and emotional. Wish there had been more M/M in the actual menage scenes but knowing there was that connection between the men helped. Couldn't stand the jackass Dr. Dan and looking very forward to the next book in the series.

2nd in the series but can be read as a stand alone.

Not as good as her others

I discovered Crash into Me and really liked it. I was excited to read this new book when it came out, but was sadly disappointed. I guess reading about guy-on-guy action is just not my thing... at all.

A mind changing, heart racing, toe curling read

After loving Crash Into You I couldn't NOT buy and read this one. I was iffy about the idea for a few reasons. 1. The first book was about a returned love, and the last thing I wanted was to read was a repackaged first book. And 2. I'm very much a 1 hero type of girl, I have never read a manage book, and it's never interested me. But I still gave it a shot and I must say, I've never loved being more wrong. Yes, it was another returned love but it was far from a rehashed book 1. Situations were different, reasons for leaving were different, and then throw in a third person and you got a whole new idea. Then there was the manage. Let me just tell you, if you've never read a manage before and never really thought they were for you, do yourself a favor and give this book a try. The author simply doesn't write off the second guy as just an extra cock. He not only got his own journey, but the author made you love him and root for him as much as the first guy. Once again Roni Loren as knocked my socks off and made me rethink my book preferences.

Good but with some weak parts

I loved Crash into you and was looking forward to Jace's story. It started well, the past and present of Jace and Evan being revealed and the character development solid. I was really into this couple. I did not mind the menage with Andre, except that half way in, Jace's character kind of moved to a secondary plain and then the story was about Andre and Evan. And then about Andre and Jace, and then about the three of them together forever. It was too many switches that did not have good development and that distracted me and even bored me. On top of that, she was driving me crazy always leaving the poor guy (or guys, depending on the chapter). The end improved a bit but I was too far gone to find the characters and their interactions relatable. A pity. I already bought the next in the series, Fall into me, so I will read it anyway. I just hope it is better.

I can feel it when reading her stories. She writes amazing physical
erotic sexy scary intense and very very hot tales. I love the people.
The characters are so well portrayed, you know them, you recognize them,
the feel of their part of the whole story. So far, each of her stories
have been very distinct. And wonderful. I look forward to reading more
from her.

Evan's got a smart, loving, protective fiance, and a strong emot

Evan's got a smart, loving, protective fiance, and a strong emotional bond with him that goes back to when she was a teen runaway in serious trouble. Unfortunately, he's just not that into her, being gay and closeted for the sake of his career. But he wants her to be happy, so he sets her up with a three month membership at The Ranch, a place she can discreetly play without blowing his cover.

What none of them count on is that Evan's first love Jace is also a member of The Ranch, and so's his hot buddy Andre. Despite, or perhaps because of their past hurts, it's simply not possible for this trio to make it only about the sex, though they try. Love's got a lot to do with it; love between Evan and Jace, between Evan and Andre, and between Jace and Andre, though there is something extra special when all three are together. The obstacles keeping these people apart are not easily surmountable, and it doesn't all wrap up in a bow (or padded handcuffs, if you prefer) over the course of a long weekend. The sex is incredibly hot (I've had a mad crush on Jace since he first appeared in Roni's Crash Into You); adding hot cop Andre just turned it up a notch.

I've never been into the whips-and-chains-and-floggers thing, but Roni makes me like it despite myself. I just hope she doesn't start writing erotica involving circus monkeys or houseplants, because I would prolly discover that in her skillful hands, those "did it" for me, too.

I don't think it was as good as the first in this series, Crash Into You. The story dragged in several chapters and I felt like the characters' backstories could have used a little more development. Despite that, I did enjoy the book and look forward to the next in the series.

Enjoyable read. Loved the characters and the story, but some of the dialogue felt a little stilted. It just wasn't as smooth as how people actually talk: Like: "I'm (something) and am (something else too)" Proper, certainly. Not sure about you, but I don't say "am" I'd say "I'm this, and I'm that" --hopefully that wasn't completely confusing.

Certainly not as outright suspenseful as the first book in the series. But I liked this one I think more. The short ebook between was also good. I love characters who aren't super serious about themselves.

Definitely a writer worth following.

Another Great Addition To The Series!

Roni Loren's Loving on the Edge series continues its wonderfully entertaining momentum as teenage crushes/foster siblings are reunited as adults after a night of love led to years of guilt and heartache. As a teen Evan felt unloved and unimportant stuck in a pit of depression from which she could only express herself through cutting. Foster brother Jace always had a way with people and Evan formed a strong bond with him that ended badly and led her to almost committing suicide while living on the streets. For years guilt ate away at Jace when one night they're unexpectedly reunited and they get set on a path that puts them through the emotional wringer once again.

Jace's life has been emotionally difficult as well. His father feels as if he's a failure since he wants to go his own way in life and not rely on the family business and money. He constantly belittles him which has given Jace self-esteem issues. He also has an ex-wife who wanted him only for money and cheated on him constantly. Jace now has a hardened heart and only wants relationships that are superficial. His friend Andre understands Jace's pain and is one of the only people he can count on. They've always shared their women but as the story progresses their relationship evolves into something stronger and more fulfilling. Not to mention steamy!

Evan's return to Jace's life is full of secrets and obligations and I ached for everything she'd been through and continues to go through out of loyalty. She's willing to sacrifice her happiness because of a perceived obligation and this part of the story was extremely annoying and made me very resentful towards Evan's fiancee Dan and his emotional manipulations. The only people she can really count on are Jace and Andre and their extremely sexy menage which is first and foremost based on truth which none of them have had enough of in life.

This was a thoroughly satisfying story with two sexy heroes with dramatically different qualities who together make the perfect man. The sexual encounters are frequent and seamlessly interwoven throughout the story with some scenes of lite-BDSM play and some m/m action as well as a menage. There's glimpses of characters from previous books which add a family feel to the story but doesn't mean you have to have read the previous book to fully embrace this one. The glimpses of Ranch owner Grant and Ranch member Colby were very enticing and have me excited for the future of this series. Have a tissue nearby though as Evan's past is highly emotional and her surviving it makes her even more likable and someone to admire.

I discovered Roni's books over the weekend and devoured them until I was left wanting more. I love how she intertwines her characters into each new book. She is a very good writer who draws you into her world and makes you feel and route for the characters. She is definitely a writer who I will continue to follow. I just wish we didn't have to wait until January to read Grant's story.

Jace's story is one of love and dominance. Don't be put off by the menage' aspect of the book, it's HOT! And, as for Jace's and Andre's relationship it is built on love and friendship and the "guy on guy" action (which is very little and well written) s depicted as
such.

I'm not a huuuge BDSM fan -- never imagined I'd enjoy reading something about it -- but this book is about so much more than "just sex."

The characters drive the intimacy, and the sex revolves around the story, not the other way around. Nicely done. Very nicely naughty read, and I'll definitely be looking forward to future additions.
