Justin Roberts music is fun to listen to if you are tired of the traditional children's music and songs. His songs cover topics that are relevant to children and it's nice to have a change of pace as a parent. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. When we first received this CD as a gift, visions of Barney and Yanni filled my mind. Ugh. Children's songs are generally unlistenable. This was a surprise. The first listening was, well ... not bad. Reminded me of "They Might Be Giants" and the subject material brought back memories and fears. I liked it more with each listening. Subject material is for kids and inner children as well. My wife and I even play it when our child isn't in the car sometimes. We recommend this: Buy it and you'll find yourself humming the songs ("Maybe the Monster" is my favorite while my wife prefers "Taking Off My Training Wheels")... and not being ashamed to admit it.Was this review helpful?
